Can't always hide

The night had fallen some time ago and Wei Ying was wandering around, he was so tired as, for the past couple of weeks, since had gotten to the cloud recesses, he had not been able to sleep much and more often then not, he would go to the library and fall asleep there. Which resulted in him having a sore back.

But apart from that, he had gotten really close to Lan Zhan, they had practically become inseparable, even thou they only knew each other for a couple of weeks.

By now, Wei Ying was getting really tired, as most of the time he was also too scared to go to sleep, for fear of having someone not only see him in the middle of a nightmare but also sleeping in the library, which would result the person in asking questions or becoming suspicion of him, and he did not want that. So most of the time he stayed awake until he passed out in exhaustion, and woke up just a few hours later, barely getting more than three hours of sleep. Which of course, ruined his sleep schedule a lot.

He was still wandering when he came across the library, and like almost every night, he went inside and sat down in his usual corner and fell asleep surprisingly fast, but considering how tired he was it was understandable.

The next morning though, he couldn't wake up even when Lan Zhan entered the library. The older of the two  wondered why Wei Ying of all people, was asleep in the library.
He doubted that he had just showed up to early and fallen asleep.
He crouched down in front of wei Ying to softly shake him to wake him up, but as he was doing so, Wei Ying started to...whimper? Maybe even slightly crying, and that worried Lan Zhan, was he having a nightmare? Plus Lan Zhan was not good at comforting people, so he did not really know what to do.

So he did the only thing he knew how to do, he sat down in front of Wei Ying, crossed legged and took out his Gu Qing, and started playing it, trying to help Wei Ying calm down.

After a couple of minutes, Wei Ying finally started to calm down, but was still whimpering, not knowing what else to do, Lan Zhan went up to him, bent down and hugged him, it was a bit stiff at first as Lan Zhan hadn't hugged anyone since his mother's death, not even his brother.
But seeing Wei Ying calm down, he didn't stop, and hugged him tighter, and shortly after, Wei Ying stopped whimpering and eventually woke up as well.

Waking up and seeing that he was in Lan Zhan's embrace, shocked him a little, until he realized that he had had a nightmare, and he also realized that Lan Zhan has seen him.

But surprisingly, he wasn't upset as upset as he normally would be after having such a nightmare. Of course, he was still upset, but maybe waking up while having Lan Zhan himself hugging him comforted him. No one else has before, not that they could though, he was usually very sad and scared, so he was glad that there was at least someone who was able to comfort him. As he stood up, they both looked at each other in silence, none of the two knowing what to say after such a situation. That is, until Lan Zhan asked a question." Wei Ying, why are you in the library?".

And that was the moment where Wei Ying knew that he would have to say everything...
