Talking pt.2

Wei Ying was currently debating if he should actually tell Lan Zhan about his feelings. Lan Zhan was staring at him, seeing the hesitation, he decided to speak again." Wei Ying doesn't need to worry, I will not speak of this matter to anyone if that is what Wei Ying wants". Wei Ying, who by now had somehow convinced himself to tell Lan Zhan what was on his mind, realized he didn't know how to phrase his emotion." Well, I've been thinking about... Something...". He started, trying to figure out the a way to say his next sentence.

Lan Zhan nodded, showing that he was listening and indicated for him to continue." Euhm... So I don't really know how to say this... I've had, weird feelings and i don't know... What to do with them". He said,trying to express his conflicted feelings. Lan Zhan looked at him and nodded once again, giving him a encouraging look to finish. " What is Wei Ying feeling weird about?". Asked Lan Zhan seeing that the younger boy didn't know how to continue." Well, I- there is someone that I have been...talking to a lot and we've been...friends I guess we can say, but i've... Developed feelings for this person and I feel like that person could possibly like me back but, i don't really know... And i don't know how to tell them." He finally said, leaving out the part that Lan Zhan was that person.

Lan Zhan on the other hand, was feeling kind of jealous, he had the feeling that he liked Wei Ying and actually wanted to tell him, which is why he invited him to the library." May I ask who this person is?''. He asked Wei Ying as he tried to stop his feeling of jealousy. Wei Ying, who didn't expect Lan Zhan to ask him this question, didn't know how to tell him that it was him, wanted to let the Lan boy figure it out instead of telling him himself, so he finally looked up since they had started talking about this subject and looked Lan Zhan straight in the eyes, getting courage and finally admitting to Lan Zhan.

" Lan Zhan, I like you". He stated and didn't look away, continuing to look Lan Zhan in the eyes, gaining confiance. Lan Zhan just looked at him, a bit of shock evident in his eyes, but on the inside, Lan Zhan was feeling so happy that his feelings were returned, and that the boy had confessed to him in such a cute, yet also confidant way. Wei Ying was getting nervous because of the silence, and was about to say that it was a joke or something, scared of the serious face of Lan Zhan.

After a couple of seconds of silence, Lan Zhan smiled at Wei Ying, coming closer to him and hugging him. The action kind of shocked, he wasn't expecting this kind of reaction, not to mention that it was his first time seeing the older smile, at least, in such a obvious way. He had seen him slightly smile before, but it was so undetectable that he had almost not noticed. So seeing him smile so beautifully made Wei Ying feel butterflies in his stomach and blush. After recovering from the initial flustered state, he hugged Lan Zhan back, a smile plastered on his face as well. 

After they hugged, Wei Ying was the first to pull away and look at Lan Zhan, smiling shyly at him as Lan Zhan still smiled at him." I like Wei Ying too". Stated Lan Zhan, somewhat shy while saying so. Wei Ying was so relieved that they, mostly him, had finally confessed to each other, it felt like a weight being lifted off of his shoulder.

He went to hug Lan Zhan once again, he liked this feeling, the warmth that the other provided was comforting, just like when he had first hugged him, he felt a sense of safety. Lan Zhan happily hugged Wei Ying back. To be in a more comfortable position, Lan Zhan leaned on the wall and now Wei Ying was practically laying on Lan Zhan's lap as the Younger Jade was brushing his fingers in between his hair, caressing his face in the process." How about we go back to Jingshi, it will be more comfortable". Said Lan Zhan, they both stood up after a minute or two and made their way to the Jingshi.
