Like a blooming flower

The two had gotten back to Jingshi and sat down on the two pillows that were opposite of each other. For a moment, they just stared at each other, not knowing what to say to each other after what had happened in the library. " So, what do we do now?". Asked Wei Ying, who couldn't stop smiling." Whatever Wei Ying wants to do". The boy though for a while before saying." Lan Zhan?". He asked." Mhm". Answered Lan Zhan to assure him that he was listening to him." Are we...together?". He asked, as they hadn't said anything about the matter since they had confessed to each other in library.

"If Wei Ying is comfortable, then yes. But if Wei Ying wants to wait i will wait". He answered, feeling as though Wei Ying would maybe not want to date him immediately, because he was quite nervous when confessing, but he was quite surprised (in a good way) by The youth's answer." Well, I mean, i-if you don't mind, i wouldn't mind, that you are my b-boyfriend". He said shyly as he blushed and had a shy smile. Lan Zhan smiled at the younger's cuteness, getting up and sitting down next to him, putting a hand around his waist and pulling him closer by the waist, still smiling, he said." Wei Ying, will you be my boyfriend?". He asked. Wei Ying looked up at him, with wide eyes full of evident joy.  He nodded his head as he jumped on Lan Zhan, hugging him while putting his hands around his neck and shouting." Yes yes yes I will be your boyfriend Lan Zhan!". They both smiled wide smiles as Wei Ying giggled and Lan Zhan slightly chuckled at the boy's cuteness once again while hugging him even tighter. Wei Ying, suddenly realized in what position there were, Wei Ying had his hands around Lan Zhan's neck and was on top of him, while Lan Zhan's hands were wrapped around his waist tightly and was beneath him.

He blushed as he suddenly stood up, looking around the room and going to sit on the bed that was in the room next to where there were, Lan Zhan following behind him, sitting down on the bed,next to him. "Is Wei Ying ok?". He asked as he got confused at the sudden behavior of his new boyfriend." Y-yeah, I'm ok". He said as he let out a small nervous laugh, Lan Zhan was just so... Good at being a boyfriend? He doesn't know how to explain it, but the younger Lan just makes him fluster so easily. Lan Zhan on the other hand, was loved that now, he is the one teasing him, rather than it being the opposite like other times. Wei Ying, who was still blushing and didn't want Lan Zhan to see him like that, cuddled into him to hide his face.
As they were cuddling, they heard the bell that indicates that it is lunch time, so they both got up and while walking to the eating room, Wei Ying was all giggly and Lan Zhan was having a hard time keeping a straight face, as his smile was reserved for Wei Ying and Wei Ying only.

As they arrived at the hall, Lan Zhan was able to put his straight face on as they walked inside, but Wei Ying was still giggly, which made other clans look at him, curious as to why he was in such a good mood when Lan Zhan had probably punished him once again for breaking the rules or something of the sort. As they sat down next to the older Lan, they both noticed that he was trying to keep a chuckle from escaping his lips." What is so funny Zewu-Jun?". He asked, confused as too why the older was laughing." Oh, it is not important Young Wei, I just noticed that you two finally seem to have told each other how you feel about each other". He said as he went back to drinking his tea as if nothing happened. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying just looked at him and then at each other, in shock as they realized that Lan Xichen had figured out that they had confessed to each other, but then calming down as they noticed the happy expression on his face, clearly expecting this to have happened at some point. They all ate in silence, and then after finishing, some had small talk with others some just stayed quiet. Wei Ying on the other hand, was busy clinging onto Lan Zhan, and Lan Zhan let the boy do what he wanted, as he put his hand around Wei Ying's waist, clearly not minding.
