Pat and Pran were the furthest things from friends one could find.

They fought on a daily basis and usually about things that didn't need any argument in the first place.

Both faculties of engineering and architecture were known to be in conflict with each other. And the animosity between the two boys only helped fuel these conflicts further as now both faculties despised each other.

Much to the teachers' dismay, there was never a punishment good enough to make those students understand that they needed to behave while at their faculties.

Many fights would constantly break out and not just between Pat and Pran. Their respective groups of friends held a fair share of fights which resulted in a few suspensions over time.

In other words, there wasn't a single soul in this university that wasn't aware of Pat and Pran's hatred of each other.

Which meant they did a wonderful job at hiding their relationship to the whole world.

Not one person knew about the two of them being utterly in love with one another which was the reason why the sea of students crowding the buzzing cafeteria stood frozen in place, rendered to silent as they stared with wide ogling eyes at the displaying scene before them.

No one talked. No one moved. No one laughed or smiled or even breathed.

It was dead silent and nobody dared make a noise.

Pat -as everyone else did in the university- knew Narong Chai Charoen was the most popular guy in his old university.

Narong had only moved into Pran's faculty two weeks ago and he had already made a name for himself as the worst bully this university has ever known.

This university was known to be a peaceful place where studying truly was the greatest of experiences.

Narong had changed that in only two weeks of time.

Now, for most students, it was just hell on earth to go to class.

Everyone knew Narong and everyone avoided Narong.

Pran was part of the people who avoided him like the plague. He was great at fighting, everyone knew that. They had all seen him fight against Pat on many occasions.

However, Pran was extremely smart and humble and he knew when he wasn't a match against someone.

And there was no way in the world he could possibly win against Narong Chai Charoen, black belt in Taekwondo.

He had been doing a pretty good job at avoiding Narong until today.

Lunch had been the only time Pran could work on one of his latest assignments which was due for his last class of the day. As per usual, Pran's colour pencils, pens and sketchbooks were neatly placed on his working place, aligned perfectly and organised in the most satisfying of ways possible.

Pran was ready to work, already done with his lunch while his friends were attending a class Pran wasn't taking for this semester.

He was minding his own business, working and losing himself in his own world when a hand roughly snatched Pran's sketchbook, slamming the book shut with a loud sound before slamming it back down on the table, right onto Pran's neatly arranged colour pencils.

The pencils -by the action- were scattered in every direction, some falling to the ground while Pran's eyes widened at the whole mess his once perfectly organised table displayed.
