"..and so the shares would go back to the Xiao Industry in China which would lead to confli-"

"Stop." the loud voice of the young Ceo Nanon Korapat cut off the speech of his employee. "Just stop talking, for the love of god." he said, muttering the last part to himself as he closed his eyes briefly, trying to hold on to the last bits of sanity he had and not murder the poor employee doing a presentation in front of him and the rest of the executives.

"Did I say something wrong, Mr Korapat?" the employee asked, nervous at the mere idea of making a mistake in front of so many important people for the company.

He was sure he had done everything right in his presentation till now. He hadn't even stammered once which was a surprise with how anxious he was. He couldn't even stop his hands from shaking as he had pointed to a few important details of his presentation which was being displayed on the wall for everyone to see.

"I don't think you've worked enough on this presentation, Mr Pawat." Nanon replied, annoyance showing in his expression as he threw a cold glare to the employee, his hand holding the pen a little too tightly. "Half of the information is wrong and the other half is missing. You talk about the Xiao Industry which has no business with the subject at hand here and would you please stop those hands of yours from shaking." Nanon grunted and watched as the employee hid in his hands behind his back and apologised silently.

"What a waste of time." one of the executives grumbled as he sighed and glared down at the employee too.

"Are you implying I've been wasting your time, Mr Ayutthaya?" Nanon spat as his glare shifted from the employee to the man sitting a few seats to his right. The man snapped his head in Nanon's direction, eyes wide in panic as he quickly shook his head and apologised. "This meeting is over. I will be rescheduling a meeting for next week. By that time, I expect you to have a solid presentation to show me, Mr Pawat."

"Yes, sir." the employee said as he nodded his head to the Ceo.

The employee was the first to leave the meeting room, computer and files in hands as he scrambled away to better his work while the executives took their time to have small talk with each other before slowly exiting the room. As the last executive was about to step out as well, Nanon gestured for him to wait. The man frowned but did as asked and waited until the door was closed, them being the last two people in the room, silence becoming heavier by the second.

"I advise you to be careful with the way you speak to other employees, Mr Ayutthaya." Nanon said, finally breaking the silence, standing up after gathering his belongings and walking towards the man.

Nanon was rarely seen in his company.

He was always hidden away in his office at the highest possible level of the building and the only time employees saw him, it was because of a mistake they had made or to get fired.

Nanon was young. Perhaps some would even say too young to be Ceo of such an important company. People didn't like being under the orders of a kid.

Nanon was well aware of how older employees and executives thought about him and how they wanted to defy his authority as much as they wanted to take his position.

Luckily for Nanon, the Chairman was his grandfather.

Not theirs.

Nanon had been trained all his life to take over the company from his grandfather when time would come to do so. He was far more qualified than all those employees combined and he knew there was no chance for any of them to ever take him down from the position of Ceo.
