Zhara POV
——
It's been a year since I've been Solaris' guard. It's tiring at times, but I'd do anything to repay my debt to my so called father. 6 months would've been enough for the kingdom to give me their trust. Also has been about 3 months since I've met that strange lady. Powerful ambitions I'll admit, but I already regret getting involved with her. I can't back up now, never will be able to.I look at the mirror as I tie my hair back, trying to hide white hair strands. Ultimately I gave up, I looked like shit anyways. Before I can even open my door, a presence forms behind me. I turn to face him.
"Hum? Why so glum Zhars, thought you would be more happy to see me!" The dark simian props his hands on his hips. As much as I am happy about it, I just feel too exhausted to even express right now. So I just stared for a response. Maybe I have a staring problem but either ways looks like he took note of it. "I told you this plan would exhaust you. But noo.. you'd just didn't wanna listen and wanna repay some guy who isn't your actual father. Who's just using you as a stepping stone in this plan." He grunted crossing his arms. A lot of hand movement going on.
"Yeesh, when did you start caring so much. So lucky to have a caring friend." I reply sarcastically as I leaned on the door. He frowned at me. Touched a nerve so easily, huh.
"Why don't you take a break Zhara, You need it." That simian said it with such a sympathetic look, I felt my gaze soften.
I groan. "Fine, but I can't today too sudden. I gotta let the princess know a day before. So tomorrow, alright? And just tomorrow."
The simian seemed happy with that response so as quickly he came, he left. I sigh as I open the door to head to where the princess is.

Solaris POV
——-
I get the knock I've been waiting for I hurriedly run to the door opening it to be greeted by a tired looking Zhara.
"Zhara are you.. alright?" I ask as I bring her in. "You look..""Horrible?" She finishes the sentence for me, I nod. "Yeah I know, don't worry about it though" She says this as she moves to the side of the door like she did on the first day.
"What are you doing? Why are you there?" I questioned her.
"I'm exhausted, I don't feel like chatting with you guys today." Zhara crosses her arms on her chest. I stare at her before I notice her hair. Two front pieces. It's white, not like a live looking hair kind of white just, dead white.
"What's wrong with your hair.." I walk towards her before I can even grasp her hair she hits my hand away.
"I'm sorry Princess, but that's just quite rude to just touch someone, No? I'll be here If you need an escort to somewhere. Just ask." She says before closing her wings over her eyes.
I turned to Valefar, who was just sitting watching this go down. We don't speak for the rest of the day, just doing our tasks of the day.
