Zhara v Sleepy
A

Zhara walks among the ruined pillars scattered across the plains, her frustration unmeasurable . "Sleepy, I don't understand why we keep coming out here. All you ever do is talk about your friends. Don't get me wrong, they seem nice and all, but can't we just hang out at Pigsy's instead?"
Sleepy chuckles, "I know, I know. But you have to admit, this is more fun than sitting around at Pigsys. Plus, You're ALWAYS there!"
Zhara rolls her eyes, knowing he has a point. She jumps down from the pillar she's been perched on and grumbles, "Fine, but can we at least go somewhere interesting this time?"
Sleepy looks at his friend with a mix of amusement and concern. "Actually, this time I wanted to take you somewhere new. Last spot"
Zhara's eyes widen in surprise. "Really? Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise," Sleepy says with a mysterious smile.
Zhara scowls, but can't help feeling a little intrigued. "Fine. Let's just get this over with."
As they set off, Zhara can't shake the feeling of unease.
"Are we almost there?" she snaps at Sleepy.
He nods, sensing her impatience. "Yeah, just a little further."

"Woah this place.. it looks horrible?." Zhara wandered the area,  plains with what remains of a village with craters spread around. "Do you know what happened here, Sleepy? An attack probably?" Zhara asks amazed, while looking around.
"Yeah but you know more than me of what happened here." Sleepy says crossing his arms. Zhara turns to face him confused,
"What do you mean I know more?" She chuckles confused. Sleepy kicks a pebble,
"You're the one that caused this Rocky! You were fighting someone and It was much more horrid looking when it was going on. I think time dulled it down."
"Are you good sleepy? I think all that sleeping is making you a bit crazy. I could never do something like that, plus this is ancienntt." She says poking his forehead. Sleepy frowns, gently moving away his friends hand.
"Im sure Zhara. I don't know what happened to you, but you got your same name some how. just no memories? It doesn't make sense." Zhara raises an eyebrow.
"What do you mean, Sleepy?" Sleepy grabs zhara by her shoulders,
"Zhara, what don't you get? You're NOT human, this isn't all just a coincidence. Why can't you just remember?" He says tearing up. Zhara stares at the upset demon uncomfortably before moving his hands off her shoulders.
"I get it, I know that!" Zhara yells at the demon. She looks down, "I think we should go back, you aren't well sleepy." Sleepys face scrunches up in frustration before turning around quickly, accidentally thwacking Zhara into the crater.

Zharas flashback scene
—-

Zhara and Wukong faced each other in the middle of the village, their weapons at the ready. Wukong's staff faced at his opponent, but Zhara didn't seem at all intimidated. She twirled her scythe around her body with ease, a smirk on her face.
"You're not even trying," Zhara taunted, "I thought you had more fight in you."
Wukongs frustration grew with each passing moment.
"I am trying," Wukong growled, swinging his staff in a wide arc. "I just don't get why you're taking this as a huge joke!"
Zhara dodged his attack effortlessly and laughed. "Taking it as a huge joke! Wukong, i'm hurt!."
Wukong gritted his teeth and charged forward, swinging his staff with all his strength. Zhara danced away from him, easily avoiding his strikes. Those strikes landing into the earth, causing craters.
"You're so slow!" Zhara laughed, "I'm starting to get bored!"
Annoyed, Wukong swung his staff again, this time with even more force. Zhara ducked under his strike and sliced at his legs with her scythe, causing him to stumble.
"You're not bad," Zhara said, still taunting him, "But you're jusst not quick enough."
Wukong lunged at her again, but this time Zhara was ready. She parried his staff with her scythe and kicked him in the chest, sending him flying backwards into a nearby building.
"You're not as tough as you look," Zhara said, walking slowly towards him as he struggled to stand up. "What happened, that pretty crown of yours limited you?" Zhara smiled.
"I'll show you tough," Wukong growled, charging at her once again.
This time, Zhara didn't dodge. Instead, she attacked him head-on, slashing at him with her scythe as she ran past him. Wukong managed to block her strike, but it sent him off-balance and he stumbled backwards.
Zhara took the opportunity to turn and run, but Wukong was right behind her. He swung his staff wildly, destroying the homes in his path as he tried to catch up to her.
Zhara continued to taunt him as she ran, knowing that it was only making him more frustrated. "Is that all you've got, Wukong? I thought you were supposed to be some kind of powerful king. The MONKEY king infact."
Wukong gritted his teeth and concentrated his power, sending a wave of clones towards Zhara. But she was too fast for him, poofing the clones as soon as she could and running out of the way at the last moment.
"Nice try," Zhara said, "But you'll have to do better than that to catch me."
Wukong's frustration grew as He continued to chase after Zhara, striking out with his staff whenever he had the chance. But each time he missed, he destroyed another building, leaving the village in ruins.
Finally, Zhara seemed to grow tired of the game. She turned and launched herself at Wukong, scythe raised high.
Wukong tried to dodge, but she was too fast. Zhara's scythe sliced into his shoulder, leaving a deep gash.
"You're not the only one who can fight dirty," Zhara said, a smirk on her face.
The monkey gritted his teeth and swung his staff with all his strength. Zhara blocked his strike with her scythe, but the force of his attack sent her stumbling backwards.
Zhara laughed, even as she felt the pain of her injuries. "Finally, you're starting to fight like you mean it!"
The two of them continued to battle, destroying everything in their path. Wukong was growing tired, Zhara didn't plan to slow down, knowing her opponent is much stronger than her. Even with the circlets restraints, Wukong is far more stronger than her. Speed is all she had on her side, with a bit of luck. Wukong charged at Zhara, swinging his staff with all his might.
This time, Zhara was caught off guard. Wukong's staff struck her in the side, sending her flying backwards. Only the thing stopping her from flying further was a a building. She quickly picks her self up, back to the ground.
Wukong rushed forward grabbing Zhara before she can get away, he slams her drown into the ground a crater as a result of this. Zhara strains against the Monkeys grasp, "Look at that.. You caught me." She sneered. Wukong holds his staff up to deliver the final blow. But as he raised his staff, he hesitated. Zhara takes control of the hesitation, as his grip lighten she kicks him off her. Sending him back not too far, while trying to stand she stumbles back. Without hesitation this time, Wukong lunges at Zhara finally striking her in the chest with such impact scarring her.

"Zhara!" Sleepy calls out, quickly sliding down the crater dust trailing behind him. "Are you okay? I didn't mean to knock you down!" He asks worried.
Zhara blinks back to reality holding her self while breathing heavily, "its happening again." she tears up, rubbing her eyes Sleepy looks at her as if dawg was weird. "Why do you want me to remember these things..." her voice wavering with a tone of anger rising, "I don't want to see anymore of it." Sleepy looks a bit taken aback by this, "But.. you can't zhara! Please just lets keep trying." He tries to reason, he lends a hand for zhara to grab. She smacks it away getting up on her own, "No! All these stupid journeys and stories was for me to remember all that horrible stuff?" She raises her voice more at the demon. "Who was I? Who am I now? Why don't I remember all this." Zhara glares at her friend, whos eyes are welling up with tears. But this only made her more upset, "All these stupid visions, they're all horrible! I'm always getting hurt, or someone I know, that I cared about is getting hurt. Hell, I don't even actually know them yet it still hurts!" She yells, her voice breaking a bit at the end. Zhara pauses a bit, before angrily turning to sleepy to continue her outbursts. "But you, If you were my friend back, whenever. Where were you?" She narrows her eyes at him. "All those times, something horrible was happening. You were never there!"
"Its not my fault! You wer-" Zhara angrily cuts him off,
"I was what? Too far, couldn't find me? Whats the excuse now? You're some great demon, but back then you're not much like how they say you were. Just some thief and a kid who caused too many problems." Zhara huffs, "What about that guy huh, six ears. Who is he, whats his actual name?" Zhara starts to interrogate the upset demon. "It was macaque. You remember the  monkey that was a mentor to Mk.." Sleepy answers avoiding eye contact with Zhara.
Zhara's eyebrows furrowed, "Lady bone demon. Who's she?" Sleepy shrugs, "A chief?" Zhara gets another shrug as a response. She grits her teeth, sleepy's eyes threatened to cry. "What about ME getting sealed, you've never mentioned it ever. Where were you for that? Have you just never known?" She glares at Sleepy. Finally, sleepy starts crying. Zhara stares a bit in frustration before turning around letting out a scream of frustration, then sitting down again like a frustrated child. Ignoring her crying friend.

They sit there for what felt like hours, until the sun finally started to set. Zhara turns her head over her shoulder to sleepy,
"Sleepy, Im sorry.. I didn't mean to burst at you like that."
Sleepy hugs his knees, "No.. its okay.. I just wanted my friend back." He sniffles.
Zhara feels a pang of guilt, she looks down saddened. "You won't be getting your old friend back, but I hope you can accept me as a new one."
Sleepy sighs heavily letting a few tears run, "Yeah.. okay.." Zhara fully turns to her friend, her arms welcoming a hug. "Friends?"
Sleepy turns to her too, lightly laughing at the question, "Yeah friends." He hugs her. "Does that mean we can leave now? I'm hungry." He asks while still hugging Zhara.
She laughs, "Yeah sure, maybe pigsy will cook us something." Zhara looks down for a bit, "You think you can bring me to Flower fruit someday? I need to ask the monkey king a question."
Sleepy replys with a mumble of a sure.
