After Mk and the others saved the world, Mk apparently became the Monkey King's apprentice. Crazy right, and throughout the whole saving the world thing I was just chilling here. No regrets though!
Its been a few weeks and MK and Mei have been trying to get me and Sleepy to be like, good friends. Cause 'I don't have any friends', pfft I have plenty.. Maybe not plenty, but enough! Other than that, Sleepy sometimes seems upset hanging out with me. So I just try not to interact with him much, except today..
I enter Pigsys just to chill with Pigsy and Tang since it was my day off. Though, pigsy is working I got Tang to talk to!
"Zhara!" MK barges in loudly Sleepy following behind, back from dropping off deliveries. Not even giving me the chance to talk to Tang.
"Whats up?" I look over my shoulder. MK and Sleepy standing at the entrance.
"Can you hang with Sleepy? I gotta drop off a few more deliveries then go-"
I cut him off,"Go train with Monkey King? Kay, gotchu! I don't mind hanging out with the cool, fish friend of mine" MK quickly grabs the orders left to delivery and leaves. I gesture Sleepy to come to sit with me and Tang.
"So, fish man, how have you been?" I ask
"I've been alright, ya'know stealing here n there." He fidgets.
"This place better not be next! I've already got a freeloader to worry about!" Pigsy chirps in loudly.
"I think I'm more of a loyal customer, Pigsy!" Tang says.
"Loyal customer my ass!" Pigsy hollered at Tang.
"You wanna head out, fishy?" I murmured to Sleepy,
"Yeah, not a fan of marriage quarrels." He responds. We walk out the shop, going down the street.
"So, what do you do for fun Sleepy?" I ask him as we walk.
"...Steal?" Ah, yes. Not sure what else i expected. Not that it isn't too much of a bad thing though! I think.
"So.. would you wanna go do that then..?" I question unsurely. Without a response he jumps up enthusiastically, grabbing me by the hand running to a store. Stopping as we got in front of it. "We can start with this one!" Pointing in front of us, a very expensive store. Oh geez...
"And what do we do if we get caught" I whisper over to him.
"We run of course!" Oh man, todays gonna be something alright. I follow sleepy into the store, my hands inside of my skirts pockets. I look around the store, everything so pricey. Then we're in an aisle with sea related things, all pretty things honestly. Then sleepy starts walking towards the exit? Huh? Did he even get anything? I keep following him until we're out.
"Hey, i thought you were gonna get something what happened?" I finally ask. Cause seriously I didn't see bro take anything.
"I did!" He smiles mischievously, pulling out shiny fish hair pins.
"Woah! Hold on when did you even get that? I mean, I get I might've not been watching you all the time, but I think I would've noticed if you taken something!" I think i sounded really shocked, astonished maybe?
Doesn't matter!
"Magic!" Fishy puts his hands up. "Did you get anything?" Fishy asks
"No, I was just shocked at how pretty yet pricey everything was!"
A angry woman in heels starts walking out the store, shouting,
"Hey! You two, did you pay for those hair pins?"
"Is she talking to us?" I turn to sleepy dumbfounded.
"I think we should get going!" Sleepy responds yet again grabbing me to run. We run back to Pigsys, not needing to turn around cause, who would run after us in heels? We walk into pigsys out of breath.
"You guys look beat." Tang says still at the same seat, eating his presumably free noodles.
I laugh. "You think?" I look to sleepy who's already regained himself. While i try to control my breathing I walk over to the counter, begging for water. Pigsy hands me a glass of water, which I finish quickly.
"That. was. fun! I mean i wish we could have went to another store and do that again!" I burst, turning to Sleepy.
"Really?" He says shocked. In the corner of my eye, MK and Mei fist bump. I decide to ignore it, this might've been their silly little plan but I don't care. I end up spending the rest of the day chatting with sleepy.
