After I had catched my breath, gotten a rest and collected my thoughts, I stood up and walked up the riverbank towards the village.

Why would someone want to burn Casita? And rob the village? Who were these men? Are they able to burn Casita? Can we stop them? When will they come? What should I do? Who should I tell?

These questions flew around my head again and again. I pressed my palms against me eyes and stood still for a moment. I was still tired and my clothes felt heavy so I levitated of the ground and flew over to Casita.

I heard some calls and glanced down at the ground where the men's working on the house called to me and waved. I ignored them and continued towards my home.

I flew straight down and landed smoothly in the courtyard. A small smile appeared on my face as I noticed how I was getting better at levitating myself. That smile quickly disappeared as my mind was again overflowed with questions.

A chair came jumping over the floor and stopped in front of me.

"Thanks, Casita." I sighed and sat down on the chair. I leaned forward, putting my elbows on my knees and my hands under my chin.

For a moment I thought about going to my room and change to clothes, but I felt more tired than ever, both mentally and physically. I looked at my foot where I had been stuck between the stones, all the pain now coming to me.

My ankle was red and swollen and I was starting to get a bruise. I also noticed a small scar from my ankle and to my calf. I groaned and shivered.

Yeah, I better go get myself new clothes. I thought and was about to stand up, when the pain came back to my ankle. It wasn't much, but still really uncomfortable. I groaned again and halted to the stairs up to the second floor.

A shutter on a window beside me moved and gave a creaking sound. "I'm fine Casita." I muttered but the window shutter continued creaking.

I didn't want to go up the stairs so I was just about to levitate me up to the balcony when a soft hand grabbed my arm. It was Tía Julieta.

"Hey, Elena. Why are you so wet?" She asked and turned me around, looking me all over closely.

"I- uh," I stuttered and moved my left foot behind the right one, not wanting to let Julieta know I was hurt. Of course she could help me, but I didn't want her to worry about how I had hurt myself. I would just sneak to some food later.

"I just fell in ther river when I was drinking. Yeah, no big deal." I said and wanted to draw her attention from myself. "But shouldn't you be in town?" I asked.

"Yeah, I just forgot something in the kitchen." Julieta said and let go off my hand.

"Well, then you should get to that. I bet people are waiting to be healed." I chuckled dryly and proceeded to push Julieta closer to the door.

I didn't get to do anything, when Casita interrupted by making the tiles under me move and the chair come over and lift up my left foot. I was just able to regain balance and take my foot back, but it was too late.

"Elena. Why are hurt? Why didn't you tell me straight away?" Julieta said with concern and lifted up my foot, looking at it closely.

"I said it's no big deal. I'm fine really." I took my foot back and avoided looking into Julieta's eyes.

"Come on." Julieta said warmly and took my hand, leading me to the kitchen.

"No, really, I am fine." I said. I didn't know why I didn't want her to heal me, I guess I was just afraid of more questions.
