Brad looks me straight in the eye, waiting for an answer from me.

His eyes dug into mine, making a shiver go down my spine.

"Brad...."I start off. "Don't worry about it. It's fine. I'm fine."

"What the hell is it? Why can't you just tell me?" Brad asks, hot tempered.

His cheeks are turning red from anger, and his eyes are are filled with disgust, not from me, but because he knows something happened.

As I try to speak, Brad looks down at my thigh and his scrunched up face from being angry turns into a worried face.

"Maddie, how did you get that?" He asks, referring to my bruise as he takes a step closer.

I look down and glance at the faint, brownish purple circle forming on my thigh.

I place my hand in front of it, blocking it from anyone's view. My heart raced; now I HAVE to tell him.

"My teacher, he put his hands on me." I cry harder and Brad pulls me into another hug.

As I back up, I could see the veins in his body pop out, his muscles tensing, his fists clenching together, his jawline twitching.

I'm glad that Brad cares about me and my problems, but this has nothing to do with him.

Once Brad noticed me paying attention to his actions, he stopped immediately and started to walk off.

"Brad, what are you about to do?" I ask, still teary eyed from crying my eyes out.

"Gonna have a little chat with your teacher." He says, picking up his coat and sliding it on.

"Don't; Brad stop. Please."I beg him.

"Maddie, this isn't something I can't let go! This is serious! He could've hurt you worse than he did already! He's going to pay for what he did!"

I back away, frightened from him yelling at me. My vision starts to get blurry due to more tears forming in my eyes.

"I'm sorry."Brad apologizes to me."It's just, this is something that I could've prevented. I've lost a lot and I'm not about to loose you."

"I only have to deal with him one more week until Christmas break. Lizzy is in that class with me. You know she won't let him do anything." I assure him.

"I want to know who this asshole is, and what he looks like." Brad says in a demanding voice.

"I'll call Lizzy and see if she'll bring her yearbook over here. There should be a picture in it."I say as I take out my phone and dial her number.
