Chapter 3

AGNES' POV

I walked in Valentine with Kieran.

Not my choice of course.

We had an Afternoon till Sean's welcome home party and Dutch wanted someone to watch Kieran as Kieran got more Horse products and that someone ended up being me.

Dutch was probably doing it on purpose.

I was slightly on edge as there was many O'Driscoll's in Valentine.

We would be done for if they recognized either of us.

"How likely is it they'd recognize you?"
I asked.

"Not likely I don't know any of those ones"
Kieran admitted.

"Lucky I do"
I sighed.

There was a lot of fucking O'Driscoll's.

How many men does Colm recruit? A lot obviously but yeah.

"You know them?"
Kieran questioned.

"Not personally but that one to the left has been running with Colm since the times when Dutch and Colm was actually friends"
I explained.

"They was friends?"
Kieran inquired.

"Kind of, it was rocky but they ended up having a falling out like 10 or so years ago, Dutch killed Colm's brother and Colm killed Dutch's lover, I've been running with Dutch for many years now, funnily enough even I was there for those times, I was like 18 or something"
I informed.

I don't know why I was telling the Mutt this.

It was ok though it's not like there's anything he could do with this information, it was common knowledge in both the Van Der Linde gang and assumingly the O'Driscoll's too.

Kieran nodded in response.

I saw more O'Driscoll's join the current group of them.

I gasped as Kieran grabbed me and pulled me down a tiny little alley imbertween two shops.

"The fuck are you doing?"
I hissed.

Kieran covered my mouth.

"Sorry one of them would recognize me"
Kieran stated.

I couldn't help but notice the position we was in.

I mean it would probably look to a stranger like Kieran was holding me for ransom which was a rather funny though because if any of us was holding the other for ransom I can assure that it would be me holding him for ransom.

I pushed Kieran's hand away from my mouth.

"It looks like your holding me for ransom, this is how you land yourself in prison"
I scoffed.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean too"
Kieran apologized.

"I don't care, I get why you did it"
I sighed.

"Let's go that way"
I shrugged.

We got away from the shitty O'Driscoll's, well kind of considering I still had one with me.

We got back and I saw Sean's welcome party had already started.

"Agnes your back, just in time for this little party"
Hosea smiled.

He said little but I knew it would go on all night, especially if the party focused on Sean.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss this"
I grinned.

Kieran didn't sit at any of the campfires or anything, I assume it's because he had no friends here.

Why he wanted to stay will never make sense to me.
