Chapter 10

Lumingon sa gawi ko si Terrence. He licked his lower lip and raised his eyebrow as if he was questioning me. I slightly shrugged my shoulders to tell him that I have no idea why Michael is here.

"What's the meaning of this, hon?"

Namilog ang mga mata ko sa naging paraan ng pagtawag ni Michael sa akin. It was the same endearment he used when we're still with each other.

Bakit tinatawag niya ako ulit sa ganoong paraan?

Nang tingnan ko muli si Terrence ay mariin itong nakatitig kay Michael. He was leaning the side of his body against the door. A mocking smirk was etched on his lips.

"Who are you calling hon?" It was Terrence. "My girlfriend?"

Gumapang ang iritasyon sa mga mata ni Michael nang tingnan si Terrence.

"Girlfriend?" Natawa si Michael. "As far as I'm concerned, I am the very reason why she's here."

Matunog na ngumisi si Terrence, tila baliwala lang sa kaniya ang mga sinabi ng dati kong nobyo.

"You may be the reason why she went here..." he trailed. "But I am now the reason why she's staying. See where she is right now?"

Gusto kong tumayo mula sa inuupuan ko para tabihan si Terrence. Sa ilang sandali na nakasama ko si Michael, alam ko kung gaano kaiksi ang pasensiya niya. Hindi malabong magkasakitan sila ni Terrence.

But then I'm not sure who I am truly worried about. Sa ganda ng katawan na mayroon si Terrence, aminado akong tila nangliit si Michael sa kaniya.

The muscles on Terrence's arms look really stiff and hard. Kahit na maraming beses ko nang nakikita ang ganda ng katawan niya lalo kapag nakahubad siya, palagi pa rin akong humahanga.

Pero paano ako makakatayo mula dito sa kinauupuan ko kung wala akong damit? I'm sure Michael has already made his own conclusion what's going on. Sigurado akong kita sa puwesto niya ang ayos kong walang saplot.

"What are you doing here, Michael? As far as I'm concerned, we already broke up a week ago." sagot ko nang hindi pa rin umaalis mula sa pwesto ko.

Umiling siya, nakakunot ang noo.

"No. I just had to stay away from you for the mean time to think about what I really wanted. Who I really want-"

"She doesn't exist in this world just to be a second option, fucker."

Warmth filled my heart when Terrence said those words. Bigla kong naramdaman ang kahalagahan ko bilang isang babae na hindi ko naramdaman sa iba.

Natawa si Michael, may halong sarkasmo.

"I know you. You are Terrence Monasterio-"

"Glad that you know me-"

"You are a womanizer. Kabi-kabila ang mga babae mo at alam ng lahat na hindi ka marunong magseryoso. You only want her body-"

"Who wouldn't want her, right?" Terrence shot me a glance that stayed for a couple of seconds. Tumaas ang kilay niya, may ngisi sa mga labi. "She's a total package. Beauty and brain. Successful and career driven. The way she moans makes her even more attractive, too..."

He bit his lower lip and smirked even more. Itinuon niya ang atensyon pabalik kay Michael at mariin iyong tinitigan. Kitang kita kung paanong manglaki ang mga mata nito at balutin ng galit habang palipat lipat ang tingin sa amin.
