CHAPTER EIGHT: Super Jun! On The Way!

SUNDAY

Junhui was giving his order at the coffee shop when he got a text message from Wonwoo. He thought nothing of it at first—keeping a light smile on his face as he politely asked for a cup of tea and a slice of vanilla cake. He thinks after drinking all of that alcohol last night, drained his body of everything; leaving him craving for something sweet; and sleep that wasn't just a couple of hours long. Junhui felt the vibration in his pants pocket, heard the faint dinging sound that signals whenever he received a notification. But he kept it where it was, pulling out his wallet instead—grabbing the few crinkled bills he was tipped the last time he worked for his part time job. Which he has to sober up for tonight, because if he remembers correctly, he has a shift. The Chinese man still didn't check his phone as he thanked the woman behind the counter, just nodding as she said that his order will be out shortly.

Jisoo guided the trio to a table. Or well a booth. It was made out of faux leather, polished oak wood being it's foundation. The trendy red color has faded over the course of the years, but at least there were no rips or permanent butt sweat stains. The aforementioned wasted no time when it came to plopping into the seat, throwing his head into his arms that folded into a temporary pillow. He groaned quite loudly before beginning his daily whining. Seungkwan sat opposite him, laughing at his friend's hungover state; Junhui taking a seat beside the other blonde. He would have pulled out his cellphone then, but was captured by the way Jisoo complained in the most dramatic way.

"Does the sun have to be so fucking bright today?" He squinted his eyes while raising his middle finger up to the window he sat beside. Because of course Hong Jisoo purposefully chose a spot where he could find a reason to be a nagger. "And don't even get me started about last night. What a total bust..." His frown quickly turned into a smirk as he sat up to look at Seokmin. The dark brunette and his friends still sat at their table, engaged in a conversation. Junhui didn't have to look to know who Jisoo was staring at, but he craned his head to look anyway. Seems as though Minghao disregarded the fact that he has a chair, and took sanction upon his boyfriend's lap. Almost as if done purposefully. "Or well not completely."

"How many times do we have to tell you to stay away from that man?" Seungkwan groans out. His face had scrunched into distaste and maybe even some annoyance. No matter what, Jisoo took offense and snapped his head back, so he no longer eye-fucked the side profile of Seokmin but instead narrowing his sight on his friend.

"Who says I approached him!?"

Junhui shook his head with a chuckle. No matter the amount of times people tell Jisoo to stay away, he's always going to defy. He genuinely needs to be rejected—told that he isn't wanted, before he finally gives up. But Junhui believes Seokmin actually enjoys the little love triangle he put himself in. There might be a thrill there; the rush of the chaos that comes with two men arguing over him. Lee Seokmin's an ass. Minghao deserves so much better. Or maybe that's just the blonde having a protectiveness towards family? Either or, the mess that involved the three of them needed to be sorted. Junhui doesn't think he can go another night listening to Jisoo complain about not having a fair shot, and then right after Minghao rant about how he needs to keep the aforementioned on a leash.
