Nanon was inside the bathroom for an hour already. Ohm got worried and knocked on the door a couple of times. Nanon just answered with 'I'm fine' but ohm was not convinced. Ohm was about to knock on the door but love knocked on the bedroom door instead.

"P' dinner is ready" ohm knocked on the door when love went away.

"Nanon. Please come out I'm really worried about you. Don't worry about anything okay? Just come out... Or just... Open the door... Please? Your ohm is worried" he wished nanon would finally listen to his pleading voice. Ohm knocked on the door a couple more times. Finally, nanon opened the door but didn’t come out. Ohm went inside and saw him crawl up on the floor.

"Nanon! Are you okay?"

"Yeah... I'm fine... The medicine worked... "

"Oh thank god"

"I'm sorry ohm. I lost my control for a moment and your scent was so tempting-"

"It's fine nanon. I Don't- I Don't mind.'

" no ohm! You are too kind"

"Only kind to my meow. Come on we have to eat or else my mom will break  inside the door thinking we are mating"

"Your mom has a dirty mind."

"Yeah. She thinks I need to find partners soon"

" she is just worried you know"

"Yeah yeah." ohm and nanon sat at the dining table and ohm's dad immediately put his hand on nanon's forehead. Nanon flinched back because he might think his temperature is weird.

"Oh, I'm sorry son. Love told me you were sick so I just wanted to check. Looks like Your fever has gone down."

"Ye-yeah... I think so..." nanon couldn't believe his ears. A human was calling his temperate normal. nanon's mom gave him her special chicken soup and love gave him a bar of chocolate saying she feels better when she has them. Love was the same age as nanon but they weren’t that close.

Ohm came back to his room first and nanon followed after a few minutes. Ohm sat down in bed with his laptop to finish some of his work. He saw nanon checking his face in the mirror. He knew nanon was thinking about working tomorrow.

"You are not going to work tomorrow "

"Oh, why? I am better now"

"It can come back and I Don't want you to roam around the street in that state"

"Nothing will happen ohm. I will be fine" ohm slammed his hand on the table and got up. He walked straight to nanon with dark eyes. Nanon moved back and his back hit the closet. Ohm stood a bit away from him but his stare made nanon shiver.

"You. Are. Not. Going. Dew told me you can rest. Also, I remember reading others might get into heat if one gets into one."

"Hmm... You are right... Dew is also a hybrid...  I might cause his heat too... I think he is the reason why I started feeling nauseous " ohm smirked and walked away. Getting back to his work.

"You are scary" ohm's face lit up hearing nanon's words and laughed.

"Aww. Is my meow scared? Come here I'll hug you. You Will not be scared anymore" nanon Couldn't refuse the hug invite and jumped in the bed to cuddle with ohm. Ohm hugged nanon's waist and made him sit on his lap.

"Ohm... Thank you again"

"Stop thanking me. You can take me for granted" ohm put his head on nanon's chest and listened to nanon's heartbeat. It wasn’t much different from his. Beating at a fast pace. How can they be different?

"Nanon"

"Hmm?"

"I know I told you that you can leave whenever you want but... Can I ask you to stay? I feel like... You are the someone I was looking for... I mean... Because you understand me so well... " ohm looked up to see nanon already looking at him.

"Can you stay with me, meow? I'll get my first Salary and rent a place for both of us... We will live there... Forever" nanon didn’t know why he felt like crying.  He never felt so loved by anyone in his life. Ohm's eyes that pierced through his eyes looked so beautiful that he wants them on him forever. Was he being too greedy? Maybe. But can you blame someone for looking for comfort? And nanon always found comfort in ohm. Since the first time they met.

"I will stay with you ohm... Let's live together... Forever" ohm smiled and patted nanon's butt for him to get off of his lap. Nanon sat beside him but still held ohm's arm. He hugged ohm from the side and let him finish his work.

After 3 days nanon felt fine. He was sure that his heat ended and Won't be coming back soon. Nanon woke up early because ohm Won't wake him up by himself. He woke ohm up and they both left the house together.

Ohm and Nanon were waiting for the bus. Nanon's stop was before ohm so ohm could drop him off. But ohm was still worried about nanon. He Didn't want his little kitten to work.

"Nanon... Don't go?"

"No. It's too late to stop me now. You asked me to stay with you remember? Now lemme be like a real human"

"Okay fine... I asked you to stay but promise when I earn a lot of money you Will stop working. "

"Okay deal" the bus came and both of them got on it. There Weren't any seats left for both of them to sit. A guy got up and let nanon sit on his seat. Nanon thanked that guy and sat on the sit. That guy stood in front of nanon.  Ohm saw how the guy was smiling at nanon. He didn’t like how people react when they see nanon. He is too pretty but he is not something they can have.

"What is your name?" the guy asked and leaned over nanon. Nanon looked surprised and smiled awkwardly.

"Nanon."

"Where are you going?"

"To work"

"You are too young and pretty to work"

"Umm," nanon looked uncomfortable and glanced at ohm. Ohm had enough and pushed the guy to stand in front of nanon. Protecting him.

"You have any problem dude?"

"He is my-" ohm was about to answer but the bus hard break in the middle of the road because of a puppy. Ohm lost his balance and fell on nanon's lap. Out of instinct nanon balanced ohm by placing his hand on ohm's waist.

"Huh! Wasted my time on someone's boy toy" that guy looked pissed off and walked away from them. The whole bus was now looking at nanon and ohm. They both just stared at each other awkwardly.  Ohm was dying inside but nanon felt his thing react. Nanon pushed ohm softly to make him come back to reality.

"Get up ohm. Everyone is staring" ohm quickly got up and hid his face in his palm.

"Sorry I lost my balance and-"

"Next time...  Let me stand because I have a good centre of gravity" ohm nodded shily. He felt like everyone was looking at him and judging him.
