Ohm woke up in the hospital. He could feel his whole body aching. He remembered everything that happened and sighed. Not realizing there was another being in the room even though it was midnight.

"How are you, son" ohm jolted up and looked at his father standing in front of the window. In the darkroom, he could feel his father's strong aura.

"not that good dad... My friend..."

"nanon went back to society right?" ohm wrinkled his eyebrows and looked at his father straight. His father turned back to look at him. Ohm's father took slow steps in front of his son.

"what do you mean?"

"I know nanon is a hybrid. Cat hybrid to be exact. I knew it when I first saw him and confirmed it when the mating season came." ohm's father turned on the light and ohm stood up from his bed when he saw ears on his father's head. His father had everything like a human but he had dog ears and a tail.

"I'm a half-dog hybrid son. As you can see I can't turn into a dog. This is my power limit. I can only turn like this. Your grandpa was a dog hybrid. " a silence fell between them. Ohm didn't know how to take in the information.

"so am I also-"

"no. You are a full human. My hybrid genes were weak. I ran a lot of tests on both of you to find out if you were hybrids but none of you turned hybrid... All though you do have a lot of abilities like hybrids" ohm father sat on the bed and held ohm's hand. He made ohm sit in front of him.

"Don't be scared son"

"I am not... So You knew nanon was gonna go away. You knew about the rules of society. You knew about the scar face."

"yes... I thought nanon will tell you all but he didn't and look where you end up." ohm stared at his dad's ears. He kinda wants to be a hybrid maybe then they will let him live with nanon.

"Are you gonna chase after him?"

"no... He is finally home... He had to go home. Maybe it's for the better " ohm's heart felt heavy when he said those words but he always went with the flow of life. For the rest of his stay at the hospital, he didn't talk much. His family always stayed with him but he didn't even care to look at them. He just stared out the window thinking about nanon. His dad told his mom about everything because she knows about hybrids but told love that nanon's cousin came and took him back to his hometown. Love felt sad for nanon and ohm. She knew how close they were. She thought their friendship is about to turn into something else but nanon had to go. Ohm took 3 days' leave from his workplace. On the 4th day, he went to his office.

"oh hello, ohm. Is everything alright now?" ohm just looked at his teammate jeff and smiled. Jeff could see bruises on his face.

"man. Did you get into a fight?" jeff put his hand on ohm's shoulder with a worried expression.

"yeah... Kinda..."

"wow... How?" ohm decided not to answer that so he changed the topic.

"fill me up with information. I need to know everything that happened when I wasn't present" ohm tried to smile but that smile couldn't reach his eyes. He felt tired. He wanted to quit everything and run to nanon. He wanted to find him and hug him for the last time. Can't he do that? He didn't take advantage of nanon except for making him clean his room. How could he take advantage of a cute meow? How could he manipulate him? How could nanon leave him?

Ohm sat on his desk and tried to work. It's been 4 hours already and he couldn't do any more work... His brain wasn't working. He couldn't even write one page. He decided to call his dad. Even though they are not close at this moment he needs his dad.

"Hello, dad..."

"Hello, son. What happened? Are you not feeling well?"

"..."

"Tell me a son" his dad tried to comfort his son but he also knew his son has always distanced himself from him so trying to act friendly won't work.

" dad... I can't seem to work... I just can't I don't know why... "

"what do you have on your mind?"

"Nothing"

"son... Run behind what's running on your mind... Take leave from work or quit... I can back you up with whatever I have. Nanon was right. I should act more like a dad" ohm felt his heart burning when he heard nanon's name. Nanon needs to be with him...

"Okay dad... I'll call you back" ohm hung up and went straight to hr. When he got permission to enter he slowly opened the door and entered the room.

"what's up ohm? Are you feeling alright now?" hr was drinking his coffee.

"no sir... I need some more days off... Or I have to quit"

"what-" he quickly put down his coffee and stood up. Ohm was a good employee. He could do more work than any other person on his team.

" it's an emergency for me" ohm looked restless and the bruises around his face explained everything.

"Okay hold on. What? You want more days off? What happened son?" he came out of his seat and stood in front of ohm.

"my... I have to go somewhere... I need to find someone... Or else I can't work properly. " ohm had no expression on his face. Which scared the hr.

"listen ohm... You can work half days okay? Come at 8 and leave at 1! Isn't that a great idea?"

"it is... But I can't guarantee you that I will be able to work properly. Don't expect too much from me." ohm left without saying goodbye. It was already time to leave so he packed his bag and left.

"ohm! Wanna grab something to eat? You haven't eaten anything the whole day" jeff was talking to ohm but ohm didn't even bait an eye. He left the office.

"what happened to him? Boy problem?" jeff looked seriously confused. He was the only one who knew about nanon. He knew he goes straight to pick nanon up from a cafe. Anytime jeff talks about his boyfriend ohm starts talking about his friend who lives with him. He adores that kid. Jeff always teased ohm about him but ohm never got mad or annoyed. It looked like he enjoyed being shipped with nanon.
