"Dew sorry I didn’t work my full shift today" nanon came inside the staff room to take off his apron.

"No, It's fine. It's your first day and I'm glad you had a fun date here. " nanon tilted his head in confusion. What's a date? But decided to keep the question for ohm because he might look stupid if he asks that.

"Ah... Thanks dew... I'll go now... Ohm is waiting" dew waved him goodbye. Nanon walked out with ohm and everyone was staring at them.

"Ah... I love what they have. It's so cute Isn't it?" build said while holding his boyfriend's hand.

"Hmm... They look cute together... Just like us" bible replied and leaned forward to place a sweet kiss on build's head.

"You are still working" dew gave them a death glare and walked away. Build and bible Just sighed at their friend.

Ohm walked hand in hand with nanon. They just arrived at the bus station.  Nanon was acting like a curious cat and went close to another cat that was sitting under the bench. Ohm also sat down with him because he didn’t want to leave nanon's hand. Nanon stared at the cat while the cat started meowing at him. Almost like telling his something.  Nanon nodded his head and stood up. What is going on?

"Wha- what happened meow?"

"My cousins are looking for me... I better sent them a Letter or something so they Don't worry about me."

"Oh... Sure... You can just go and meet them"

"No... They Won't let me leave them again because... It's kinda like an unspoken rule that you can't leave society. Once you leave you can never enter again.

"Really?...  SO DOES THAT MEAN YOU CAN'T GO BACK?" ohm yelled in horror. Nanon looked casual like It was not a big deal.

"Hmm"

"Nanon!  You miss your mom right? How can you say it so casually? "

"I will go back once you and I settle down with our own lives... I'll take my official leave from them if they Don't accept me"

"Huh?"

"I always wanted to work ohm... You might think all hybrids know a lot about humans but no... They Don't...  They Don't even know how to read or write... They come into this human society to work in low-class jobs. I learned how to read from my human friend chimon... He taught me a lot... Since then I read a lot of books and gained a lot of knowledge just so I can work... I want to work... As Higher positions than them... I want to live a good life... Not in a fear of Being killed by humans... I Don't want to live in fear and hide in a shabby hut." nanon felt a rush of emotions. His tears were about to fall. He hid his face from ohm and wiped it away. Ohm kept quiet and hugged nanon.

The bus came and they got on it. They both sat down in the back. Nanon put his head on ohm's shoulder and closed his eyes.

"I'll always stay by your side nanon. Do whatever you want" nanon smiled but didn't look at him. Nanon got himself a friend for a lifetime.

Every day ohm came to the cafe to watch nanon work. He used to stare at nanon for hours. Because of nanon's cat instincts nanon always knew when ohm is staring at him. Ohm finishes his remaining work at the cafe and comes home with nanon. This has been going on for days. Ohm now knows that his cat friend is also a huge bookworm like him so he likes to keep him busy with books. Ohm bought a new book for nanon to read. He handed the book to nanon and saw him get happy.

"thank you baby!" nanon jumped on ohm and to balance himself nanon wrapped his legs around ohm's waist.

"am I your baby?"

"I saw build and Bible call each other baby"

" umm... They are dating so..."

" oh what's dating?"

"It's like mates but not too serious... They can break up..."

" what's a date?"

"wanna go on a date baby?" nanon blushed and placed his head on ohm's shoulder

"Sure"

"uhh, wrong timing I guess" ohm turned his head around and saw love standing in his room. She came to inform them that the dinner is ready. She just stood there with big wide eyes and a teasing smile.

"no. Love it's not-" love ran out and closed the door.

"mom p' said he will eat later" love yelled and giggled like a little girl. She must've misunderstood.

"dude! You won't believe what I heard right now!" love dialled her best friend's number and started telling her everything.

"What?" film asked.

" you remember nanon? The strange boy who lives with p?"

"yeah? What about him?"

"ah! I think they are dating!" love squealed and rolled around her bed.

"no way! How are you so sure?"

"I saw my p picking nanon up and his legs were tangled around my p's body. My p' asked him on a date and he said yes"

"oh my god!!!! They are dating"

"I know right?! There's no way they are not"

"I need to tell-"

"no one... You will not tell anyone okay? Let them come out by themselves"

"I already saw them" 

"shit..."

"umm... Ohm... You and your nong should....talk... About what happened today"

"yeah don't worry about it." how can I not? She already thinks we are mating... I mean dating... Well... I did agree to go on a date with him... But it was out of curiosity. Am I turning into a human? Why am I thinking so much?
I need to rest in my cat form for a day.

I looked at ohm and he was dancing to music like he has no worries in the world. Gosh... He is so cute like a puppy.
