"chimon?" it was ohm's cue to let nanon down but he didn't. Nanon was shocked, to say the least. His friend who went to Canada to study came back and was in front of his house. How did he come into society?

"How did you come here?"

"I'm lost... I... Heard sounds so I came here and saw you... And your... Boyfriend?" chimon squinted his eyes at ohm who pretended like he didn't see him.

"yeah... This is my house... I'm surprised to see you here."

"me too! What a small word!"

"dude... We have a lot to talk about. Let's go inside" nanon realized ohm was still grabbing his ass and he was against the car. Ohm was not letting him down. Nanon got embarrassed and slapped ohm's shoulder.

"let me down... Why are you so shameless?" ohm came back to his sense and let nanon down. Nanon was red. He held chimon's hand and walked inside the house leaving ohm alone. Ohm locked the car and walked inside to see nanon introducing everyone to chimon. Nanon turned to him and smiled sweetly.

"and this is my boyfriend... Ohm pawat. He is setting up his own company and you know dude! I have a job now! I work at a cafe. It's pretty" chimon just stared at nanon with a smile. Ohm was glad to see such a cute friendship.

"When did you come?" nanon sat chimon down on the couch. While ohm went upstairs.

"yesterday. I was roaming around this forest and suddenly lost track and couldn't find networks there. I was so scared. Thank god I found you here..."

"well yeah, it's really easy to get lost around here."

"you never told me you live in such a cool house" chimon was looking around the house.

"yeah, it's aesthetic. I love it. Let's go to my room" nanon dragged chimon up. It's usually chimon who is hyped up but this time nanon was hyped up.

Nanon opened the door and saw ohm taking a nap. Nanon felt bad. He was too excited to see his old friend that he almost forgot his mate. Ohm drove an hour to come here. Not to mention he finished his work as fast as possible.

"chim. Sit here. I'll fix the blanket for  ohm" chimon nodded and sat down in the chair. Nanon pulled the blanket over ohm's body and kissed his forehead.

"you gotta tell me the whole story. How did you end up with a boyfriend?" nanon smiled at chimon and sat in front of him.

"well... It was a miracle. I got lost here once and went home with ohm because I was scared to be alone. After that... It just happened I guess" chimon wiggled his eyebrows and teased nanon about ohm.

"you are so whipped for him, man!"

"not gonna lie, I wish I was more whipped for him. you won't understand how much I love him. " nanon stared at his sleeping mate.

"well... I have seen enough. The way you were moaning and he was not letting you go" chimon rubbed his eyes and giggled. Nanon slapped his thigh to shut him.

"it's not even the cherry on top bro. Usually, I'm all over him."

"too much information but okay" they played catch up for a while and it was getting late so chimon had to go back. Nanon promised chimon when he goes back to the city he will meet him regularly. Nanon walked chimon to the main road and said goodbye. It was already dark. He can see in the dark so he didn't have a flashlight with him. But he wished he brought it for self-defense. Scarface was long gone but he still hunted nanon's mind. This forest in the dark was nanon's nightmare. Nanon prayed he could reach his home and not get hurt.

He reached his home safely. There were no obstacles in his way. He opened his front door and walked inside safely. He saw ohm sitting at the dining table with his family. He looked tired. Nanon crept behind him and hugged him. Ohm flinched but then relaxed into nanon.

"I missed you"

"I missed you too," nanon said in a low voice. He was more cautious of his parents listening to their conversation than ohm.

" I'm sorry I didn't give you much attention even when you came back for me" nanon sunk his nose into ohm's neck.

"It's fine. I understand you got excited to see your old friend"

"no ohm... You are too kind... I ignored my mate for a friend... It's not okay" nanon sounded extremely guilty. Ohm turned around and hugged him. He breathed in nanon's smell. The smell makes him wanna eat him.

" I am not pleasing anyone by words nanon... I'm not being kind. You are my mate and will always be one. Chimon might not always be your friend... Cherish the moment you have with him. Your friendship is also precious." nanon melted while listening to ohm's words. Ohm is too kind. Other boyfriends would get jealous and fight but ohm even told nanon to keep his friendship strong.

"I love you, my hero" nanon kissed on top of ohm's head. Ohm looked up and peaked nanon's lips not caring if he was in front of nanon's parents.

The next day the vote took place. It was between nanon and the ruler's son. His son seemed nice. He was grateful to nanon. They both stood on the stage while everyone was voting for them.

"nanon... Just so you know... After you win this whole society is yours. If you say you want us to live in the city we will. " the ruler smiled at him.

"sounds like you wanna live there" nanon quietly said.

"no, but my son does" he side-hugged his son. Nanon looked at ohm who was standing in front of the stage and staring at nanon with a smile. Nanon smiled back at him.

"your mate is a human right?" The ruler's son, Ian asked.

"umm... Yeah... But his bloodline is dog hybrid."

"oh! This is why he looks completely okay by hybrids"

"Maybe... Or maybe 'cause he is too kind and intelligent... He knew about hybrids from books... You know humans like to write fantasy stories about us. " nanon chuckled at the irony.
