"I suppose I should be getting more of those crystals for your boys. And human identities." Sans frowned in perpetual disapproval. "we don't need whatever you got. we can make up our own identities too." Papyrus tutted at his brother, starting to gather dirty dishes, only for Walker to take them with his magic hands. "Trust me when I say you will benefit from the lapis lazuli." Sans and Papyrus both watched Walker's magic at work before it faded into sparks. "h-how... my magic wouldn't..." Walker dangled the crystal from around his neck. "I couldn't either, not until [Y/N] got me this." Sans regarded his father carefully. "you hated humans... what changed...?" Papyrus was now washing dishes. "HE MET MISS [Y/N], OBVIOUSLY! STARS, YOU ARE SO LAZY, YOU CAN'T EVEN KEEP UP WITH WHAT'S GOING ON!" You and Walker sweatdropped while Sans looked at his humanized brother. "I'm gonna get those crystals, give you some alone time with your sons." You whispered to Walker. He gave a small, grateful, smile. "I will try to fill them in on what they need to know while you are gone." You gave him a peck on the lips before heading out.

Was it actually a good idea to give Sans a crystal? You didn't know, but you had to build trust somehow and Walker had told you how dependent on magic monsters were. So yes, you were getting crystals for both brothers. You actually already had ideas for their human names. Ones much closer to their original monster names than Walker's. Hell, what could you even translate Wingdings to? Anyway, Sans was hauntingly familiar to Sam. And Papyrus was close enough to Patrick. Sam and Pat. It had a nice little ring. The old lady was watching with a knowing smile when you came in. "Come for more, deary?" You nodded dumbly as she held out two more silver chains with lapis lazuli on them. "How did you..." She cackled again. "I just do, deary. You will see soon enough, your connection to their world."
"M-my what...?" She laughed, passing the crystals into your hands. "Are you from their world-" She was no longer listening though, hobbling to the back of the shop. Had she always had a hunched back? You sighed and started back home. Who was that shopkeep? What did she know about you?《》
"Dings, boys, I'm back!" You called out as you came in. You walked to the living room where the boys were... sleeping. You chuckled quietly, putting the crystals on the coffee table. You went to the other room, pulling out a blanket and draping it over the three. You were about to head to your room to read but... "thanks human." You paused, looking back. "Sorry Sans, I didn't mean to wake you." He was looking at you with an unreadable expression. "i wasn't asleep." Oh. "Still..." Sans sighed, leaning back into his father. "it's going to take me a bit to get used to you. but i do appreciate what you did for my dad and now us." He glanced at the crystals. "so, uh, thanks." You nodded. "Of course, it's no problem." Sans hesitated a moment longer. "you can call us by human names or whatever. i get why we need 'em." You smiled at him. "I hope Sam is to your liking. Sam and Pat?" Sam gave a thumbs up before closing his eyes, signifying that the conversation was over.
