The day had ended with the Ferris Wheel. "So... that kiss..."
"What about it?" Walker wondered as he took in the view. "Did it actually mean... what I think...? Do you-"
"Love you? Yes. Somehow you, a human, managed to worm your way into my soul. Lucky you." He joked as his duel colored eyes turned to look at you. You snickered quietly. "I didn't... think that would, uh, I l-love you too... but... what about going home?" Walker sighed. "I was hoping you would come with me... if and when I figure out how to return." You opened your mouth ready to say yes. You wanted to say yes, it's not like you had much going for you... but they were still your parents... you closed your mouth, conflicted. He sighed, grabbing your hand. "You don't have to choose now. That would be unfair of me." He kissed your hand gently. "For now, let's revel in this success, the view is quite nice." You both turned to stare at the lights of the fair and city beyond. Walker sighed gently with contentment as you squeezed his hand.《》
You woke up trapped in his embrace on the couch. Were you both really too tired to go to bed?! You were practically face to face too, definitely close enough to see just how deep his scars were, how defined his features were, how soft his pale lips looked... how soft they'd felt yesterday. Holy shit, you were with a fucking Skeleton and not just any Skeleton but the one that despised humans the most in his entire world! Walker... Wingdings... whatever name he went by here in your presence, he was your boyfriend now.. You connected your forehead to his and closed your eyes. "Happy early New Year, my dear." You yelped, shoving away from Walker in surprise. He held firmly to you though, not allowing for you to fall off the couch. "Careful." He looked highly amused and you felt a little humored as the hair that had fell out of his ponytail fell into his face. "Sorry, you startled me..."
"I can tell."
"Happy early New Years to you too" You finally responded. "Any plans this New Years?" Walker quiried. "Spend all night with my favorite skele-man." Was your immediate response. He laughed. "Well then, that means we should probably get up!"
"Probably." You agreed, sitting up.《》
"My turn to choose the activity. Come on, I'd like to show you some of my magic, if you don't mind." Your eyes lit up. "Oh yeah! I wanna see what you can do!!" Walker took you to the basement where nobody could see. "Magic, my dear, is a projection of one's self." Walker put his hand together then pulled them apart, summoning a bone as long as his armspan. "When properly taught how to use it, it will obey to your every whim." He shrunk the bone to the size of his hand. "This is a projectile. All monsters have one, in various shapes and colors." The bone turned blue. "We Skeletons are adept in blue magic. When an attack is blue, you freeze." He tossed the attack to you and it passed harmlessly through your hand." You were mesmerized. What else can you do?!" He smiled and snapped his fingers. A animal skull with horns appeared beside him. "Holy shit!"
"This is a Gaster Blaster. One of my family's strongest attacks. They combo well with blue soul magic." You hesitated to approach. "Can I touch it?" Walker chuckled. "Yes." You rubbed it's muzzle as Walker checked the time. "[Y/N]." You hummed and looked at him. "Happy New Year." Time, 12:01 am. "Happy New Year, Walker."
