It took six months in all before the day finally came. Your attacks that you'd been practicing so much with could stay summoned for about a minute, the promised amount of time in which you could get them home. You were all down in the basement, Walker and Sam running through the final calculations before you all started the procedure to go home. "alright, things look good over here, your end doc?" Sans asked his father. "Yes, I see no issues. It should be smooth sailing from here." That said, the father and son pair walked over to you and Pat, who were making sure all the propane tanks were attached and ready to fuel the way home. "Everything ready over there?" Walker asked as he went to hold you from behind. "YES!" Pat answered before you could. "LET'S GO!" Sam frowned softly. "hey, uh, paps, ya gotta remember... we probably won't be remembered by anyone... and that time flows differently there, too. according to my calculations, it's probably been about nine years there compared to the six months here..." Pat merely smiled, though. "OH, I KNOW, I WILL REBEFRIEND EVERYONE! NO, I'M EXCITED TO SHOW [Y/N] HOME!!!"

You all took a side as Walker started the machine. This was it, the moment of truth. All you had to do was channel magic into the machine, and you would all return to the monsters world. It occurred to you that this would be the last time they needed to be known by human names... you wondered if you'd have to give yourself a font for a name there. "Start channeling the magic in now. We are at the optimal 'jump' point!" Walker - or rather Wingdings- ordered to which you complied, letting your aqua magic filter into the machine. You tried to throw all your intentions into getting home, so much so that you didn't notice when Wingdings phased out. Or Sans. Or Papyrus. Then it happened to you as well. You felt tingly, like cobwebs spreading all throughout your body. You felt a numbness spread through you right after, with a following heaviness. There was a 'fwump' as you landed in something chilly and wet. You fought off the growing exhaustion in an attempt to see where you were, but it was all in vain. You couldn't open your eyes or move your limbs.

You woke to the sensation of someone stroking your cheek, a soft scraping sound punctured, the silence drawing you further from peaceful rest and into the waking world. You opened your eyes to see warm orange and blue lights and a soft smile on the cracked face of a skeleton. You knew exactly who it was, but it still shocked you into silence. Wingdings laughed softly. "I know, it is disorienting for you to see me like this... but to be fair, I'm not the only one who changed..." He lifted your hand for you to see your own skeletal hand. You gasped softly, trying to process. You had you were a skeleton, Erza had said so... but to see it... you felt lightheaded. "Just relax, my dear... let it sink in..." Wingdings murmured, stroking your cheek softly once more. "W-Where even are we..?"
"our nine years since abandoned house." You jumped a little and looked over to see the skeletons of the grinning Sans and excited Papyrus. "WE BROUGHT SOME THINGS IN FROM THE DUMP SO IT FEELS MORE LIKE HOME!!!" The tall skeleton posed as his scarf flapped in nonexistent wind. You couldn't bring yourself to ask any more questions. You were much too stupefied.
