It was a sunny day in Nibel. The air around Ori was filled with dread as he ran back to Swallow's nest. "I hope the inhabitants are ok." Ori thought as he ran. Ori soon made it back a few minutes later and dashed into the cave and saw everyone except for Ku was shocked and worried "I'm back..." Ori spoke which caught everyone's attention. Everyone looked at Ori "So were you able to see Niwen?" Sein asked with worry "I was only able to see what I could assume was the Spirit tree of Niwen but... It looked dead... not like the Spirit tree here during the blindness, there wasn't any light to be found either. But we should be able to take a boat." Ori informed everyone in the cave.

"Sein and I will go. I couldn't bear to see any of you get hurt especially you, Solas." Ori spoke once more as he looked at Solas. "I can start on a boat for you two." Gumo spoke before exiting the cave with some tools in his hands. Ori had a slight smile before telling the rest that were in the cave that he was going to help Gumo and left.

As Ori left, it became quiet until Solas broke it "How long will you and dad be gone for, mum?" she asked "I'm not sure. But hopefully not long, Solas." Sein answered. "I will take care of Solas while you and Ori are gone if you like, Sein." Naru told Sein "That would be great. Thank you, Naru." Sein thanked her.

Ori soon entered the cave "The boat is completed. Shall we get going?" he asked "Yes. Naru will be looking after Solas while we're gone." Sein answered "Really? Thanks, Mum." Ori thanked her "It isn't a problem." Naru replied.

Ori then approached Solas "Everything will be ok, Solas. We'll be back before you know it." Ori said to his daughter before giving her a hug with Sein joining them "I hope so." Solas replied, sadness evident in her tone "I know so." Ori said before making a small light vessel and gave it to Solas. "If you miss us at any point, just hold this vessel of light." he spoke once more "Thank you, dad." she thanked him "we just want to make sure that you'll be happy." Ori said as Sein agreed with a nod. Ori and Sein left the cave soon after.

Ori and Sein, with the help of Gumo went to the eastern edge of Nibel where Ori saw Niwen "Well, here's where I saw Niwen." Ori told Sein and Gumo. Sein's eyes widened with blue tears beginning to well up as she saw Niwen in the distance "Oh my... we need to get there imminently..." she said as the tears began to fall down her cheeks.

Ori saw this and embraced her in a hug which Sein imminently hugged back as her tears landed on Ori's fur. Ori soon turned his head to Gumo "Help me put the boat in the water." He spoke with the Gumon nodding and proceeded to help Ori put the boat in the water once Sein let go of Ori.

The boat was now in the water "Thanks Gumo." Ori thanked him as he got on the boat which was a wooden raft with leaves covering the wood, and a sail. Ori helped Sein onto the boat. "Good luck, you two." Gumo said to the two spirits "Thanks again Gumo." Ori thanked Gumo again as Sein nodded, still weeping a little.

Ori soon pushed the boat out to sea using the paddle that Gumo made along with the boat as they shared their last wave until they returned.

Ori soon began to row the boat towards Niwen. It was quiet, the only thing that could be heard was the gentle breeze that blew passed them until Ori spoke "Don't worry, Sein. We'll make sure that Niwen gets its light again and make sure that Seir is alright." Sein looked at him, she had extreme worry on her face "I hope she's ok." Sein replied.

A few hours pass as Ori soon felt something wet land on him, he looked up to see that a storm began to roll in "Oh no..." he thought "A storm is rolling in." Ori told Sein right before the sound of thunder was heard as the sky lit up in a flash of lightning. The wind quickly picked up as the boat began to rock from side to side thanks to the waves of the sea.

"Quick hold onto something!" Sein quickly told Ori before holding onto the boat with Ori beginning to hold onto the boat as well. Ori and Sein could see that they were closer to Niwen "Oh... my... god... It's worse than I thought..." Ori spoke with his eyes widening.

Ori soon heard Sein scream just before a gigantic wave flipped the boat as well as destroying it and plunged the two spirits under the waves. Ori and Sein tried their best to surface but the waves would always push them down. Their movements became sluggish and slow as their consciousness began to fade. With their last bits of air, Ori and Sein looked at each other, saddened expression on their faces. They both closed their eyes and became unconscious.

Hours pass as the spirits were washed onto the shore of Niwen, still unconscious barely alive even.

It was a stormy night. There were bits of what was left of the boat that was destroyed by the rogue wave. Ori was the first to regain consciousness as he suddenly opened his eyes while beginning to violently cough up water from his lungs before gasping for air. "I'm alive?" Ori said out loud, looking around at all the broken parts of the boat before seeing Sein. Ori's eyes widened with worry and fear as he went to her side "Sein? Can you hear me?" Ori asked desperately for an answer but... there was no response... Ori was beginning to have flashbacks to when Naru didn't respond when he tried to show her the fruit he found "Sein please wake up..." Ori began to weep. Ori then checked for her pulse as he brought his ear to her chest and to his relief, he heard her pulse "Ok so, she's alive." Ori thought with slight relief.

Ori didn't know what to do, it made him panic before a thought came to mind "What if I use my light?" he thought. He needed to try so, he placed a paw on Sein's head and channelled his light. Sein woke up soon after and begun to cough up the water just as Ori did. Ori was both happy and relieved "Oh thank the light it worked!" Ori said with happiness as Sein began to gasp for air.

OnceSein had the air she desperately needed, she saw Ori with a big smile andgolden tears falling down his face before falling to his knees "Thank the lightthat you're alive." Ori said while hugging her "I could say the same to you."she replied with blue tears falling down her face and returned the hug beforesharing a kiss with Ori. They separated after a few minutes and noticed a path"Where does that lead?" Sein asked "Well, one way to find out." Ori repliedbefore he took Sein's paw, and they walked the path into Niwen's forest.
