Ori and Sein were trekking deeper into luma pools with Seir floating alongside the two spirits "We'll need to look thoroughly here as the wisp could be anywhere." Seir told Ori and Sein. Ori proceeded to look at Seir a little confused "You can't sense the other wisps?" he said. "I'm afraid I can't." Seir replied. Ori felt a little disappointed before a thought came to mind "Since I originally came from Niwen. Maybe I can use my light to try and sense the wisp." he thought as he stopped walking and closed his eyes to focus.
Sein and Seir noticed that Ori had stopped "Is everything ok, Ori?" Sein asked to which Ori replied "I'm seeing if I can sense the wisp. I need to focus right now." he told the two. Ori soon felt the presence of light, but it wasn't the one he was hoping for "I can sense a presence of light, but it isn't the wisp." Ori spoke while he opened his eyes "Well, at least you tried your best." Seir replied reassuringly "I guess that's true." Ori spoke before he began to walk again.
The trio soon came to some water "Seems like we'll have to swim." Sein said while looking at the water "Seems like it. Hopefully there'll be air pockets." Ori replied before he took a deep breath and dived in the water with Sein and Seir following. The three beings of light saw a tunnel and proceeded to go through the tunnel.
They saw air pockets as the two spirits swam to them "Thank the light that there are air pockets here." Ori spoke as he breathed in the air around him "Agreed. Though, this would be easier if we could breathe underwater." Sein replied. Seir heard what her sister said as she sent some of her light to both the spirits "There that should do it." Seir said which caught Ori and Sein's attention "It should do what?" Sein spoke with confusion "It should allow you two to breathe underwater." Seir replied.
Ori dived under the surface to see if it would work and to his surprise, he was breathing underwater. Ori surfaced soon after "It works! We can breathe underwater! Thanks, Seir." Ori thanked Seir "Anything to help." Seir replied.
The trio went under and continued through the tunnel with Ori and Sein not worrying about drowning. Ori and Sein soon surfaced and looked around to see the edge of land.
The two spirits climbed onto the ground and saw Kwolok "Oh hey Kwolok." Ori spoke which caught the attention of the great toad "Ah, hello you three. It is good to see you here." Kwolok greeted the spirits "Same here. Any luck on finding the Strength of the forest?" Sein asked "I'm afraid not. But I must warn you three, there's a familiar stench in the area." Kwolok replied. Ori soon felt a very familiar dark presence before realising to what it belonged to "I can sense the presence. It's the same presence that I felt from that...thing that was at the top of the Wellspring's mill." Ori spoke "Ah, yes. I was told that you could sense presences." Kwolok replied to Ori.
"Well, back on track. I hope we can find the wisp." Sein spoke "Don't worry. We will find it. We will speak again once we found the wisp. Good luck, you three." Kwolok said before he began to head west. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's find the wisp." Ori said as Sein and Seir agreed.
The trio went back into the water to see that there were boulders attached to rope that slammed down with incredible speed, making quick work of a creature of decay that was unfortunate enough to swim under it. Ori was imminently reminded of those moving rocks back in Nibel during his and Sein's journey. The trio surfaced and went onto the land "Well, we're not getting through that without an ability." Ori spoke "It seems like it. There might be an ancestral tree somewhere around here." Seir told Ori and Sein "Well, let's see if we can find one." Sein replied with Ori nodding.
Both spirits looked around and saw that the only path they haven't trekked was up a cliff side "How are we going to get up there? I don't think our climb ability will work." Sein spoke while looking up at the ledge. Ori remembered something about the grapple grappling onto beings that were lightless such as Naru back in Nibel. "I think I have an idea." Ori spoke as he saw a creature of decay on the cliff side "What's your idea, Ori?" Sein asked "I remembered something about the grapple. Remember in Nibel when we were heading back to Swallow's nest before we moved to Lost grove?" Ori asked. Sein nodded confused until she remembered on how Ori was able to lift Naru up by using grapple "Are you saying your idea is to grapple to a creature of decay?" she replied with Ori nodding. Sein thought for a moment "It might work." She spoke "Well, one way to find out." Ori replied before grappling the creature which was a scorpion-like creature with claws. Ori was flung towards it.
Ori made it safely without being clipped by its claws with Sein following before she killed it by stabbing it through the chest with her spirit edge as Seir floated up to the spirits "It was risky, but it worked." Seir said to the two spirits.
Ori and Sein trekked the path with Seir floating like usual. They came across a spirit gate "A spirit gate? Needs four keystones." Ori informed them "Well, let's find them." Sein said as Ori agreed. A few minutes pass as the two spirits acquired the keystones and put them into the slots, making the gate open.
The trio saw an ancestral tree on the other side of the gate "There it is." Seir spoke while they approached the tree. its trunk grew a bit to the left before shooting off to the right "I wonder what this'll give us." Ori spoke "Well, let's find out." Sein said before both spirits placed a paw on the tree with the light entering their bodies.
Ori and Sein have acquired swim dash! They can use swim dash to dash underwater, dodge deadly obstacles, and damage enemies!
"Swim dash? We can use this to get passed those rocks!" Ori spoke with realisation "Yeah. Let's go back there and head in the direction of where Kwolok went." Sein replied. The three returned to where they encountered Kwolok and used swim dash which shot the two spirits forwards with Seir just able to keep up.
The trio soon came across a spirit well "A spirit well. I have a feeling that something bad may happen once we find my strength. Use the light to restore your light." Seir told them to which they agreed and used the light to prepare. But little did they know, something extremely bad was going to happen.
