12k?! As of writing this chapter I suddenly jumped to 12k?!
You walked up to one of the test tubes and looked up at the Nomu that resides within. It was certainly more different to you in your 'not so friendly' form.
"So they can't think for themselves?" You asked the Doctor. "They're not conscious?"
"No they're not." He replied. You look back at him, he was searching through the files of the USB you brought him. "They can't do anything unless they are given commands. Once commanded, they won't stop until that command is fulfilled." He turned his chair to face you. "Isn't that wonderful? I'm even astonished with my own creations!"
"I say otherwise. How did you even get the subjects for this? Did you break into another house and take everyone there?" You crossed your arms, glaring at him.
"Oh, no need to worry about that." He turned back to his screen. "There were a few people who donated their bodies to science. I took advantage of that. As for the quirks, they're either from the person itself or a copy I've made during my other work."
"Other work? What other work?"
"I'm surprised you don't even know about me. I am Dr Ujiko, my real name is Dr Garaki. I work at a hospital as a professional doctor for cancer, therapy, dentist, ears, eyesight, even quirks! With the money I had, I've even donated them to charity!"
"So why did you choose to go 'mad scientist' all of the sudden?"
"Didn't I already explain to you when we first met?"
"I was in a test tube..." You rolled your eyes.
"The other meeting then?"
"Fair enough. Are you done yet?"
The doctor laughs. "Oh, Y/N. These things take time, you just need the patience to do so. Besides, it was only a few weeks ago when you returned me the information I needed." He turned around to face you. "By the way, how many quirks have you manifested so far?"
You pondered for a moment. "Let's see..." You counted with your fingers. "Webs, which is my original quirk, Morph the transforming one with the tentacles and all, X-Ray vision for movement, there's Parasite, and...oh! Transmission."
"Is that it?" He questioned.
"So far, yeah. Unless you added more to me then they're just taking some time to do so."
"As a matter of fact, I did! You're missing one more."
"And what would that be?" You raised an eyebrow.
"That would spoil the surprise unfortunately." He turned back around. "You'll find out soon, don't worry."
