The Other World

-Chapter 2-

Mia POV.
The next day I wake up snuggled into Conner. Wait, Conner why is he? Oh yeah the weather tornado all clear... Yeah that. I wonder how my parents are, Im not worried because they have people to protect them so Spencer and I wouldn't have to worry.

As I try to get up to use the bathroom, Conner's arm is like a brick wall freshly built around my waist.

"Conner I'm going to need you move... Like now!" I say practically yelling while now I really have to use the bathroom. He finally wakes up and picks up his arm
"Okay gosh go." he says in a low morning voice.
I run to the bathroom happily.

Once I got semi presentable and of course went to the bathroom, I walked back out to get some food. But then he stops me at the door.

"Hey let's go look around, I wonder if there is any damage." I nod and walk up with him and,

Oh my GOSH.

There is absolutely no damage! Like at all! This is wonderful!
I'm so happy I hug Conner to death.

"Oops sorry, I'm just so happy!" I explain. "hey, it's fine, I don't mind." he says with a smile. And I smile back.

"Wanna go outside?" he blurts out.
"Sure" then we go out.

When we go outside my sister is walking up the driveway.
"Hey Conner, Mia. How's life? It was crazy last night Con's you should have tagged along." She mentioned. I love how she didn't included me.

"Well me and Mia had fun, right Mia?" Conner blurts out once again.
"Yeah?" I say, not knowing why he is implying that.

"Really my sister? That's crazy because last time I checked, she hates 'fun' " she says doing her classic smirk nod thingy.

Then all of a sudden I feel a hand wrap around my waist. Sending sparks through me. "Well then you clearly don't know your sister," he states like he knows me better than anyone. Then he continues to talk, why is he doing this to me? I did not ask for this and the feelings he is giving me! "You should really consider hanging out with her more, maybe find something in common. I swear it like ying or yang with you two, don't you both think it's time for a drastic change in your lives? You two are twins! And you hate each other!" He vents. Mad or...?
Me and Spencer both say in unison, "okay 'dad' I didn't say I hated her..." which gets me on edge, it's weird when we do that.

"Just try to get along that's all I'm asking." he says then walks back into the house, well that went well. Totally not awkward at all.

Finally me and my sister go into the house to smell... bacon? He's fixing bacon? Yay. How did he know where the..., whatever.
He fixed us bacon and eggs. It was amazing! Where did he learn to cook? I mean it's only bacon and eggs but I feel the need to buy him a trophy right now. It was like a top chef cooking for you.

"Where did you learn to cook like that it is wonderful!" I fan girl over him. "I kind of picked it up naturally, I want to be a chef one of these days." my mouth fall open in disbelief. I thought he wanted to play Football for a living.
"Well you will it's like you already have the master chef medal and OWN your restaurant!" I say, still fan girling.

"Thanks Mia, your the only one who supported me with that" he smiles. "of course," I smile back.

"Oh do you think you could make the snacks for my ritual on next saterday?" He smiles, "of course, only if you and Spencer act like sisters till then." my smile fades. how does he possibly think that would happen? She hates me!

"S-she hates me..." he smirks at me hating his idea "oh well..." I glance over at me sister, who of course isn't paying attention like always.

"Spencer please please please! Do this for me!" I beg. She looks up from her phone. "Do what?" I sigh. this is going to be hard. "can you please hang out with me tell saterday night? Please I'll, I'll do your homework..." her eyes get big as if she won something. "really?" I nod. "then yes of course!"
I run over to hug her, "your the best sister ever for this!" Then I let go knowing she hates hugging unless it's her friends. So I go finish my breakfast.

"Soo, do I get a hug too for setting that up? and making the snacks?" I get up from my seat and walk over to him, " of course you do, and for making breakfast it was delicious!" I jump on him and hugged him tight, then he finally hugged back. He has muscles, and you can tell he is super strong but he's not a giant. The hug was, sweet.
After a few moments my sister looks up from her phone to see us hugging.

"Okay guys break it up don't need to see you two flirting while my back is turned" she jokes. Ha, she thinks we were flirting, yeah right that's the last thing we were doing. Sure he is like a Greek God', and yes maybe I do have a tiny crush on him but still!

"Whatever you say Spence' hey I have to go, see you both later okay?" He says mostly looking at me. "Sure looking forward to it." I say with a polite smile while walking him to the door. "Me too" he winks, then walks out.

At.
Me!

Then I start to blush so I run. "Okay bye!" Then I slam my door shut.

Guess I should get really for the ritual on saterday, I have to preform a spell and I need to have a bond fire, 4 people with 4 candle sticks. I already have the food taken care of because of Conner.

Maybe I do have a crush on him.

A real crush.
