She wasted no time, no questions, and no extra breath as soon as she realized Ella was here to fight.
Seraphina eyes, shining a fierce blue, ability activated, launched herself directly at Ella. Fire fueling her assault, blood boiling that she would dare show her face here.
Ella however, was ready.
They were in a tight hallway, in the upper levels of a building.
No escape, for either of them.
Ella stood her ground, believing that she would have the advantage in such a tight space. Reminding herself of the barrier fight she had with John.
However, Seraphina was not John. Not to mention, she was much stronger than Leilah.
Even though their first fight had not gone in Seraphina's favor, this was not the same. The stakes were real, not for fun.
This was the first time since Seraphina had fought with John that she had been in a real fight, one that had impact on moment and the future.
Ella manipulated the world around her, summoning water and rubble from the surrounding areas. She readied her body with the wind barrier, knowing eventually the gap would be closed.
Seraphina was charging furiously at her, but not in a normal way...
She had devised a new plan, knowing that her typical freeze had virtually no effect on someone as strong as Ella. As she charged, Seraphina was freezing and unfreezing time around her.
She hoped that this would distort Ella's timing enough for her to get within range. The theory behind it was that Ella would begin to unfreeze herself, devoting her energy and focus to doing so, while she advanced.
To avoid a predictable pattern, Seraphina was going on different intervals, increasing Ella's anxiety level as she got closer and closer.
Seraphina continued her charge, almost upon Ella at this point. Once she was within range, Seraphina fully froze time!
'NOW!' She screamed in her thoughts.
Ella was caught off from this, not prepared to unfreeze herself from a full stop.
She quickly started to free herself as Seraphina was about to throw a kick... But suddenly, Seraphina unfroze everything.
Ella was stunned, caught completely unready.
Seraphina threw a signature, devastating kick to Ella's jaw. Sending her flying through the wall to their side.
Seraphina followed where she flew, deciding to give her no time to recover...
But when she entered the room where she believed Ella landed, she could not find her.
"Where did you go, bitch?" She muttered under her breath.
"Behind you!" Ella whispered.
Seraphina swung to face her rear, only to find nothing, and to feel a nasty blow to her back.
"Told you!~" Ella sung.
Now it was Seraphina who was flying through walls, landing back in the hallway where their fight began.
She was on her hands and knees, coughing blood, gritting her teeth in anger.
"Shit..." She muttered under her breath. "She didn't hold back on that one..."
