Boys Dorm, John's Room - Minutes After Phone Call

"So, Victor wants us to train with the very woman who beat us down..." Arlo was looking at John and Seraphina when asking this.
"Yeah, it seems so..." John answered, having to raise his voice over the commotion in the background.
Meanwhile... Blyke, Remi, and Isen were debating over whether they should continue to trust Spectre
"Blyke, hear me out... It's just like with John!" Isen argued for Spectre.
"No! It's not like with John! At least he was somewhat reasonable!" Blyke shot back.
"Guys! Chill!" Elaine jumped between them.
"No no no, Elaine, you have to do it like this..." Remi activated her ability and separated them with a bolt.
"..."
"..."
"Sorry." Blyke and Isen said simultaneously.
"Hey, did I just hear that you trusted me somewhat?!" John yelled across the room.
"NO! YOU DIDN'T" Blyke yelled back.
"YES YOU DID!" Isen countered. "BLYKE ACTUALLY REALLY LIKES YOU HE JUST WON'T SAY IT!"
"ISEN! SHUT UP!" Blyke swung at him.
"YO, CHILL!" Isen started to run around.
"Children..." Arlo facepalmed.
"ENOUGH!" Seraphina froze them.
"..."
"..."
"Sorr-" They began in unison.
"Save it" Seraphina said sternly.
"Yes, ma'am!" They replied together.
"Remi" Seraphina signaled. "That's how you do it."
"Right..." Remi rubbed the back of her head.
"But seriously, with HER" Blyke gave his last hurrah.
Before Seraphina could punish him further, John stopped her.
"I know... But we have to make sacrifices" John stated.
"Yeah, he's right, I went to him that night out of desperation, I was sacrificing myself!" Isen spoke up.
"And to think I was going to thank you for complimenting me earlier..." John shook his head.
"You can still do that!" Isen practically begged.
"Maybe..." John turned his head in fake offense. "But we should at least see what they plan to do before we rule them out."
"I agree with John" said Arlo. "Let's see what they are planning first."
"Jeez, Arlo... You really need to stop agreeing with me. It's nothing like you at all!" John snickered.
"Get over it" Arlo made his way to the door. "I will be taking my leave now."
Elaine and the other followed him, leaving just Seraphina with John.
A slightly-awkward silence fell between the two as this was the first time in awhile that they had been alone together. Everything had happened so fast in the last couple of weeks and they never really were on the same side until now.
