(4 weeks later)

The dreams haven't stopped, even with the occulmency sessions. I was starting to fall farther and farther behind in my studies, and my nerves were fried. To the point that I stopped attending classes, I was unable to deal with the visions that would come to me randomly. That's how I found myself in the room of requirements. After successfully avoiding Snape and Dumbledore throughout the day, I finally made my way up there. It was well past curfew, but after waking due to another night terror, I couldn't help myself. I watched the room form around me as heavy locks were placed over the door to keep any unwanted visitors out. Nothing was going to stop me from doing this. I set my bag of stuff down as I sat at the round table with a crystal ball. I felt my hands shake as I placed them on the ball before I stared directly into it. It came quickly with a sharp pain in my temple. I fell into the vision.

I let out a gasp as I fell into a grave yard. After taking several deep breaths, I sat up and began to look around. The area was covered in a thick fog, I slowly pushed myself up onto my feet before I began to walk around. That's when I saw the cauldron and the person with the baby except this time I could see who it was. Peter Pettigrew. I watched as he dumped the thing into the cauldron before he began to speak.

"Bone of the father, unknowingly given you will renew your son!" He shouted. I watched as a grave split open as a bone came levitating out before landing in the cauldron. That when I saw the feet, I looked up and saw Harry pinned against the statue of the grim reaper. I let out a gasp.

"Flesh of a servant, willingly sacrificed, you will revive your master," Peter's voice called out causing me to look back over in time to see him cut off his hand, I watched as it fell into the cauldron.

"Oh my god," I gagged at the sight as he screamed out in pain, hunching forward, before he composed himself to continue on.

"Blood of the enemy," he began making his way to Harry, "Forcibly taken," I watched him cut open Harry's arm as Harry screamed in pain, "You will resurrect your foe," He finished as he dropped several drops of blood into the fire. I watched on as the cauldron became engulfed with flames before the small body began to form and take shape, as Harry continued to scream in pain. I watched as Voldemort came back once more. His head whipped over to me as if knowing I was there. I quickly held up my wand, ready to defend myself, before I froze.

"HARRY!" I heard my own voice shouting in the distance. I looked in the direction I thought it was coming from before everything went black once more.

I came through with a sharp pain in my head as I shot back against my seat, causing it to topple over. My head hit the floor with a sickening crack, causing me to groan in pain before I sat up. I looked outside the window to see that the sun was slowly beginning to rise. I felt the back of my head pushing my fingers through my thick hair to make sure there wasn't any blood. I winced as another sharp shooting pain made its way through my temple before it simmered off. Once I finally got my bearings, I quickly dashed out the door and headed towards Dumbledore's office.

I stared at the gargoyle for a couple of seconds, trying to catch my breath from my sprint across the castle. Just as I went to breathe out the password, the stares began to move up on their own. I stared at it for a second before hopping on to it. I stepped off at the doorway before just staring at it, almost expecting someone to walk out at that same moment, but nothing happened.

"Come in, Miss Black," Dumbledore's voice called out, causing me to hesitantly enter through the doorway. I saw Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and Professor McGonagall all standing there.

"I can come back later," I quickly tried to excuse myself, turning around to run away.

"Not so fast Miss Black," Professor Snape's voice stopped me, "Take a seat," I let out a small sigh before turning back into the room before taking a seat across from the all of the standing professors as they stared at me.

"You haven't been to classes in almost two weeks, Cassidy," McGonagall started, "What is going on?" I went to answer but was cut off by Snape.

"You were working hard to catch up, but then you fell a little more behind and more, and now you don't even go to your classes. You have such great potential to be something amazing, and it seems as though you are letting it go to waste,"

"I don't mean to," I whispered, looking down and away, "I just can't concentrate. Everything is just too loud,"

"What do you mean by that?" Dumbledore questioned

"Nothing, I'm fine," I quickly shook my head before looking up.

"Cassidy, be honest," Snape snapped at me, "Quit trying to lie, we're not your enemy," That's when the ringing started again, along with the pain in my head. It never truly stopped just moments of reprieve from it here and there. I shut my eyes tightly as the dim candle light even seemed too bright.

"Have you been using your crystal ball," Snape demanded, "There's a reason as to why you were told to stop, do you care so little about yourself, that you're willing to die over some stupid vision?"

"It wasn't just some stupid vision!" I shouted, shooting up from my chair. I turned away from him, clutching my hair in my hands as I began to pace back and forth, "Tonight was the first night I've used my crystal ball. The only time, the ringing, the pain it never stopped, nor the stupid random vision I have been plagued with for the past several weeks,"

"Cassidy!" McGonagall scolded me, "Why didn't you tell anyone?"

"Why tell someone when no one has the fucking answers to my questions!" I shouted out, I felt my body flush with heat, with anger out of nowhere. It made me want to throwing something, destroy something.

"Cassidy, explain it to us," Dumbledore requested.

"Do you know what the feeling of pure evil feels like?" I questioned him

"I can't say that I do," He replied

"Do you know what it feels like to dream of nothing but death and destruction, and pure evil night after night?" I asked again, they were all silent, "Exactly, then try living your normal everyday life on top of that? So yes Professor, I used my crystal ball tonight, because I needed answers, I needed to know what I saw that night, because obviously I saw something dark, something evil. I got a lot of answers tonight," I whispered the words hung there with the silent question of what did I see, "Peter Pettigrew is alive, and he's going to bring Voldemort back,"

"Peter Pettigrew is dead," McGonagall replied firmly leaving no room for argument.

"Now I'm a liar," I replied, "I know what I saw,"

"Perhaps the stress of the year is getting to you Miss Black," Snape stated next. I could feel my body subconsciously curl into itself. Trying to protect itself.

"I know you want to believe that your father is innocent Cassidy, I want to believe that very same thing, but it's time to grow up and face the fact, you're father murdered him, and he betrayed your god parents," McGonagall sighed.

"This was a stupid idea," I whispered, "I never should've trusted you guys," with that I turned tail and went to leave before coming to a stop, "You know I've always been okay with being lonely here and there, I've accepted that nobody wants me in their lives anymore that nobody needs me, but I've never felt alone, like I have to battle things on my own with nobody besides me. Maybe that voice, whatever it was, was right because even though I was lonely, I've never felt so alone in my life until just now. Don't worry Professors I'll get my grades up, and pretend like everything is okay, perfect even," I finished before leaving the office. I walked slowly back to my dorm, where I laid in my bed and cried for the first time in years.
