Sun had started setting. I let out a small huff, tired of waiting but I knew if I left I would never have this chance again.

"You know, when Stephanie told me you were here, I didn't believe her," a males voice came from my right side. A man wearing a suit slid down the bars of the gate to sit next to me.

"I'm not here because I want to be," I muttered crossing my arms, with my glare turned to the road.

"Then why are you here?" He questioned, "You should be seventeen by now if not eighteen, legal adult in the wizarding world,"

"I need help, with something she more than likely passed on to me," I muttered.

"She was worried you got that lovely family trick," he shook his head, "She hates that you possibly got it,"

"Yeah, well it seems like she hates me in general," I stated

"She does hate you, she hates that she had you, she didn't want to pass on the curse, as she like to call it,"

"Yeah, well she can get in line, most people didn't want me, it's not surprising she was one of them, considering she gave me up as soon as she could," I scoffed, "I don't want a relationship, maybe when I was little, but not now, that ship sailed a long time ago; when I realized more than likely my ability to see came from her, but she left me to figure it out all on my own, a fucking child,"

"She does care," He tried to defend her, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Let me guess, she's not coming back until I leave, and there's nothing I can do or say to convince her otherwise," I muttered.

"I'm sorry," He whispered

"What if I said I had the cruciatius curse used against me, and now dark magic is now affecting my visions, and if I see myself get hurt in them I get physically hurt as well?" I questioned turning my head to finally look at him. He froze, he was expecting me to say anything but that, "You think that will get her here, because that's the whole reason I came. I was hoping she would possible know something or someone that could help,"

"Yeah, I think that will get her here," He muttered, "Do you want to come in, I need to call her,"

"Yeah sure," I muttered with a nod. He stood first before holding out his hand to help me up, I grabbed it and allowed him to haul me back up to my feet, my ass was numb at this point due to the long time I sat there. I followed him inside, I glanced around to see a well lived in home. I could see toys scattered about the sitting area, a basket of clothes waiting to be folded. I watched him walk up to the phone hooked to the wall before he dialed a number. I looked around the house while he talked, I froze at the sight of a family photo, Stephanie, Marcus, and two identically twins.I heard him hang up the phone, before looking away from the photo.

"She's coming," he told me causing me to nod.

"I saw you adopted, that's how I found you guys," I told him

"Yes, we did two muggles," he nodded as leaned against the wall, "We both wanted out of the Wizarding World after the last war. She didn't want kids for obvious reasons but I did, we compromised, and adopted. How's you father been?"

"He's been living on the run," I huffed crossing my arms with a shake of my head, I watched his eyebrow cock up.

"What do you mean? Last I heard he was a pretty great guy," He stated

"Petter Pettigrew gave up Lily and James to Voldemort. My father hunted him down and got blamed for the murder of twelve muggles, while Peter escaped disguised as a rat," I explained bluntly, "spent twelve years in Azkaban before he escaped,"

"So who took you in, surely Stephanie would've been contacted," he questioned

"I spent the rest of my childhood until I hit seventeen in the orphanage, because no one knew who my mother was, considering she just dropped me off on Sirius doorstep with a birth certificate with only my and his name on it," I told him, "Surely she told you that,"

"No she said she gave you to Sirius directly,"

"Yeah, if she did that it would've forced her to face him," I scoffed, "Hell my own father didn't want me, and the Potters took care of me for the first year of my life," the door opened up behind me.

"Where are the girls?" Marcus questioned, staring behind me.

"Staying the night at a friends house," she explained gently, I continued to stare at Marcus not wanting to face the reality that my biological mother was standing behind me, "Cassidy," I looked down towards the floor before turning to face her, once I looked up it felt as though I was staring into a mirror.

"Stephanie," I greeted her with a nod.

"Look I'm-" I held up my hand cutting her off.

"I don't want to here it, I've been perfectly content with keeping you out of my life for years now, I just need some help, and then you'll never see me again," I told her, I watched her throat bob as she gulped down her emotions.

"Tell me more about this dark magic," She finally stated as she set her stuff down.
