The next few weeks were spent in blissful arrogance, as I ignored what I knew were my responsibilities after what happened in the grave yard that night. Charlie was the one that decided it was time for me to start actually looking at the letters that had been sent to me for the first half of the summer. I sat there slowly opening letter after letter, reading the encouraging words that had been sent my way, while sublting asking about any possible visions, but since that night I hadn't had a single vision. I even went and had the local healer run test to make sure I wasn't being exposed to the potions even all the way out here in the safety of Romania, but there was nothing in me.

I had left Harry's letters at the bottom of the stack to read last, knowing they were going to be the hardest to read. Charlie found me with silent tears running down my face as I finished up Harry's final letter.

"I think it's time for you to give Harry a visit," He whispered to me before planting a kiss on the top of my head as he held me close. That was how I ended up in a pair of jeans and a green green T-shirt on Privet Drive. My once hip length hair had been cut to just below my shoulder blades and was pulled up in a ponytail containing the unruly curls behind my head. I had a pair of knee length boots on concealing my wand from the muggles around me as I stepped up to the door of the Dursleys. I gently grabbed the knocker before hitting it against the door three times before backing up from the door.

"Vernon, are we expecting anyone?" Petunia's voice called from inside the house, before the door opened. I took in her appearance of a dress with an apron wrapped around her waist as she finished wiping her hands off with a towel.

"Why, hello there young lady," She smiled sweetly at me, "How can I help you?"

"Hello Petunia, I'm looking for Harry," I smiled sickly sweet back at her. I watched as her open and caring demmeanor quickly became ridged.

"And just who might you be?" She snipped at me.

"Oh, I apologize. My name is Cassidy, Cassidy Black," I held out my hand to her, "I'm Harry's godsister," she glanced at my hand for second, before taking a step away from me causing my hand to drop next to my side.

"Harry!" She shouted for him, "Come down here now!"

"Coming Aunt Petunia!" Harry's voice called back quickly before I could hear his feet rushing around the house before racing down the stairs. He paused the moment he stood next to her as his eyes locked in mine.

"You have a visitor," was all she said before turning and walking away.

"Let's go for a walk," I told him flicking my head to the side. He didn't say anything as he slipped on his shoes before following me out of the house. We walked in silence down the street before a playground entered our sight, Harry silently lead me towards the swings. He took a seat first before I followed his action. I sat there for a moment gently swaying back and forth with my hands gripping the chains tightly.

"I'm sorry, that I didn't reach out sooner," I began, "That I didn't go and see you the last time I was at the castle,"

"Cassidy-"

"No, please Harry just listen, just listen," I whispered interrupting him, his lips pinched together in an effort to not interrupt again, "What I've been going through deals with more than just what happened that night, but it wasn't fair to you to leave you in the dark, to-to allow you to feel as though you abandoned me. Have I been healing from the whole experience, yes, but you also had to deal with seeing someone die, with watching Voldemort become whole once again, and then you had to leave me. We should've been healing together for part of that, but I didn't reach out, instead I chose to stay in my little bubble of safety around people who love and care about me, while you've been stuck with those damn muggles," I huffed out looking away from him, as I tilted my head back, taking a deep breath in.

"Don't blame yourself, what I've been going through has nothing to do with you leaving me behind. You needed to get back to safety, otherwise, Voldemort would've killed you that night, and even though at the time, I was scared and I thought I was going to die, Voldemort doesn't want me dead. He's wants me alive for my powers, to be able to use them to try and win. I know what my future holds, and it's not good Harry. I know that and it's killing me inside because I can't do anything to change that future, so I've been ignoring everyone that wasn't in the sanctuary, because I wanted to live in ignorance," I sniffled, "Charlie's been trying to get me to talk to you for ages, but I refused because I knew that the moment I left that sanctuary whether it was by letter or in person, it meant it was time to come back to the real world, and the real world is dark and ugly right now and it fucking sucks. So I'm going to tell you something your father told me, 'Death is easy, living is hard, but in this family we are a bunch of fighters who don't give in easily,'. We both need to fight for the lives we want. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for that fight, and I'm prepared to take that fight all the way to Voldemort if I need to," I finished with determination in my voice.

"People have already died because of me, I don't need more people to," Harry told me, "I don't want you to,"

"From this moment forward that is out of your hands Harry, this fight has been going on long before you were even born, people were dying then too. This is a fight worth dying over, if people are choosing to put themselves in those dangerous positions that's on them, not on you, never on you," I watched him nod slowly.

"Thank you," He whispered, "For not hating me for leaving you behind,"

"I don't think I could ever hate you Harry," I whispered to him, "Well maybe I could, but you would've needed to fuck up really bad for that to happen," I told him with a snort of laughter, following by his own. He rolled his eyes at me before giving me a small shove.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," He scoffed, "All I heard was, I could never hate you Harry,"

"Hey Potter! Got yourself a girlfriend now did ya?!" A voice shouted causing my head to snap forward to see a group of boys walking up to us. I raised my eyebrow before looking at Harry.

"That's Dudley," was the only explanation he gave me, causing a smirk to break across my face.

"Ooo, this will be fun," I smirked as I planted my feet on the ground before standing up.

"Just leave it Cassidy," Harry tried to tell me but I was already walking to meet the boys halfway.

"What's a pretty thing like you hanging around Potter for?" one of the boys smirked at me, causing the lot of them to laugh.

"Didn't realize it was illegal to visit family," I stated as I glared at the boy who spoke.

"Family good one," He chuckled, "Only family he's got left is big d here," He laughed as he patted the large boys shoulder.

"I don't appreciate you laughing about my dead family members," I stepped around'Big D', "So I suggest you shut your mouth before I shut it for you, trust me you don't want to mess with me,"

"That a threat sweetheart," he grinned viciously.

"It's a promise," I grinned.

"And just what are you going to do to me?" He grinned grinned like a cat that just ate the cannery.

"Oh well, it's not really me you have to worry about, more like my father, very scary man," I told him.

"And just who is your father?" He smirked.

"Oh, I apologize, I didn't introduce myself did I?" I questioned with a laugh, "I'm Cassidy, Cassidy Black. My father was on the news quite a bit, escaped mass murderer, Sirius Black," I watched as the smile dropped from his face, "Well, lets just say he doesn't take to kindly to those that mess with his daughter, or his godson," I smirked at him, "So why don't you and your group kindly fuck off,"

"Let's get out of here," He muttered as he back away, followed by the others.

"Nice meeting you 'Big D'" I smiled at him relishing in the fear that was seen in his eyes before he and his buddies ran off.

"How?" was all Harry asked as he came to stand next to me.

"Oh it's very easy to scare people off when your father is a convicted mass murderer on the run," I chuckled, "Told them he doesn't take kindly to those that mess with me or you. You should really use that card more often, you are after all his godson,"
