Fern's POV
Everything was finally ready. We we're ready for the wedding. "My little sister is getting married" said Alieen happily. Us girl were laughing as we all tried to get ready. Everything was placed in its right spot. Us girls were all getting ready in bedroom and bathroom. Clothes and jewelry looked beautiful.
It was Daisy's intimate wedding. We all got a first look of the dress and it was classic chic. We all tried not to ruin our makeup. "Let me help zip up the dress" said Alieen. I turned around to find Eleora helping Semira put on light makeup. Neoma was making funny faces so Semira can laugh.
"Will you stop it you two" said Eleora giggling. I couldn't help but laugh at them too. I couldn't stop looking at one of my best friends. She was getting married today. "She is so pretty" said Alieen happily. We all got ready as Daisy left to Dean to have the first look moment.
We secretly went on the balcony to watch them. We watched as Dean turned around to look at his stunning bride. His wife was gorgeous. Both Alieen and Daisy looked amazing. We watched them holding hands as we cheered from the top balcony.
We watched them slowly walk through the forest towards the altar. It was time for the wedding to begin. The tress looked so beautiful as her dress glided behind her. She was holding her bouquet in one hand well the other was holding Dean's.
We walked through the reception hall that matched Daisy's favorite color. The blue made everything look more soft and gentle. It was like we were on cloud nine. It was like a peaceful dream. Everyone was done getting ready. We all made it to the altar before them. They took the secret route to be alone.
It's their little romantic stroll through the woods. They made it just in time to take photos before all the other vampires get here. The groom and bride took photos of all of us as memories. The altar reminded me of a beautiful winter.
Finally the guests were arriving and it was time to start. The groomsmen we're already down the aisle waiting for us. Dean and Daisy took a glass of champagne to cheers to them. Once they drank it down Dean went down the altar with Alieen.
"Be good to my sister please" said Alieen as she looked at him. "I will" said Dean as he took her arm. Everyone else followed slowly after them to present the bride. Talon took Daisy's arm behind us. "Ready" he asked her. "Yeah" she said as they walked down the aisle together so Talon can give Daisy away.
We had live guitarist playing as she walked down. I stood at the altar as I watched her walk down. I remember being so nervous. All the groomsmen were smiling at them. Us bridesmaids were trying not to cry. Once they we're down it was time to start.
Eleora led the wedding as always. She used the same vows as Alieen's and Talon's wedding. It was so cute how they knew they were going to be family. I was getting sidetracked because I was looking at Rhys. He was looking back at me and this reminded me of our very special wedding day.
We we're whispering the vows to each other as if we we're renewing our vows. It was a cute moment for us as well. Especially after he wrote me a love poem with origami flowers this morning when I woke up. We haven't seen each other until now.
"You may kiss the bride" said Eleora. Dean dipped Daisy and everyone applauded. They kissed just a second after. They walked towards the reception hall and we all followed behind them. Once we walked in there was cheese boards and wine.
Daisy and Dean did their speeches before they could sit down. After all the food was brought to us individually. People were talking and having a good time. The newly married couple were waving to everyone as they wished them a happy marriage.
Rhys sat beside me with our kids. Their was blood for us to drink as well. Everything was elegant. I looked at the table at it was everyone that I personally have memories with. It's a treasure to be around the same people. I was overjoyed.
As everyone finished eating Dean and Daisy cut their cake. We all cheered as they took their first bites. Cake was passed around to everyone after. People had their cake and it was now time to party. Daisy didn't do a bouquet toss at all.
She wanted to keep them and we knew nobody else was getting married in our friend group. This part was more special to us rather than the guests. Daisy and Dean had their first dance of course.
The music was so peaceful as they were sweeping each other off their feet. I felt Rhys grab my hand as they let everyone join them on the dance floor. I followed Rhys and we waltzed through the clear night sky. It was a cute moment for us.
"I have something for you" said Rhys after he twirled me around. "What" I asked him. I watched as he pulled out a small bouquet that had a few flowers with a ribbon. Once I grabbed it from his hands I remembered where these came from.
"The flowers" I said with tears in my eyes. Rhys nodded his head and pulled me closer to keep waltzing with him. These were the flowers that I used to confess my love to him all those years ago. Rhys kept the flowers I have given him.
I was crying in his shoulder. "How" I asked him. "Microwave them" said Rhys with a smile. I pulled him in for a kiss. This was the cutest thing that I have ever received from Rhys. I am truly in love with the man standing right in front of me. I was blessed.
