Chapter II. The Heist.

Shuichi's POV.

It was around 1 pm. 11 hours before the Heist.. I let out a small sigh. Turning off my laptop and putting it on my bag. i then went out..

I walked in a small resturant. it was a Cat Cafe. Kaede and Miu.. another classmates of mine back in high school. I sat down on a vaccant seat. humming. Then.. a familiar voice called up to me.

"Hey Shuichi!!"

i look back to see that it was.. of course Kaede. I smiled back at Her. She went up to me, Giving me a small cute menu..

"Soo, What brings you here?"

Kaede sat down on the Opposite side of me.

"Ah..nothing, i just thought to come here.. its really relaxing.."

A cat then Jumped onto my lap, I smiled softly and started petting it.

"I see, Well, Whats your order?"

"J..Just some Coffee.. aha.."

"You never change Shuichi.. anyways.. ill go make you some real quick! "

She then stood up and went to the kitchen to make some. Leaving me. I hummed softly as I continued petting the Cat. The Cat purring in response..

Then after a few minutes. My coffee arrived,Kaede Sitting Back.

"Here! "

"Ah.. thanks.."

I took a sip on my coffee.

"Anyways! any progress on The Case Your working on?"

Kaede asked.. Letting out a small sigh.

"No.. Everytime I get close to the Theif.. They somehow slip away.."

I mutter. Sighing in defeat.

"Hey! Dont give up! you'll catch them someday!"

Kaede Cheered.

"Ah.. Thanks Kaede.. ill do my best.."

I let out a small smile. Continuing Our chat as i drank my coffee.

It was now 3 pm..

I slowly stood up.

"I gotta go now Kaede.. The theif has a Heist later.. i gotta get ready.."

"Oh! Thats no problem! hope you come again!"

"Thanks Kaede.. ill come again.. it was fun chatting with you.. good bye.."

I took my Bag and left.. Waving at Kaede as I left..

I then got back to my apartment, Packing up a bit as The museum was a little far.. it might take around a hour or two.. i let out a Sigh, Taking off my jacket and Lying down on my bed.
