Chapter 16 : Improving
Sa mga nagdaang mga araw ay nagpapatulong at nagbibigay siya ng tulong sa akin. He told me that if ever I need help on my Statistics an Probability subject ay pupuntahan ko lang daw siya, and I appreciate his assurance and efforts sa pagtulong niya sa akin, however I guess i've been a little bother for him, kagaya ngayon.
I'm sitting on one of the table with chair in the canteen, waiting for him, so he can teach me on my Statistics and Probability assignment. I saw him talking to one of his girl classmate. His brow creased and it seems like he got puzzled about something.
The girl pouted her lips as she looks at him. At hindi ko alam ano ang ibig sabihin nun pero siguro nagrereklamo at namomoblema sa kanilang probelma. The way she'sholding a folder, it seems lile she's showing something to him.
Ilang minuto ang lumapas ay napatingin sa pwesto ko si Angelus. I smiled slightly at him and wave my hand lightly.
Binaling niya amg kanyang tingin sa babaeng kausap niya at parang may sinabi bago niya iniwan ang babae roon at naglakad papunta sa akin.
“Uhm..hi, ano ang pinag-uusapan niyo?” Tanong ko kaagad nang dumating na siya sa harapan ko.
“School Project, may meeting kami mamayang 1,” he answered.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at napatingin sa aking relo. It's 10 minutes before 1.
I pursed my lips. “Saan kayo magmemeeting?”
Napagdesisyonan niya na umupo sa harapan ko bago niya kinuha ang libro sa harapan ko at binuksan iyon.
“Science Lab, why?” He said and asked but before I could decipher it, I misheard something. Making my heard thumped slowly and feeling my stomach going crazy.
Napalunok ako. “Huh?”
Napatigil siya at napatingin na sa akin. “What?”
Napalunok ulit ako at iniwas ang tingin sa kanya bago nagsalita.
“You said, uhm..love. My name's not love.” I said, whispering the word ‘love’ before I glanced at him slowly but instantly regretted it when I saw how his face lightened.
I catch him, slightly biting his lower lip to stop his smile while his eyes held amusement in them.
Nanginginig na kumunot ang noo ko sa kanya. “Ano?”
“Love..” He trailed off, and my heart thumped loudly again.
“A-Ano?!”
He suddenly laugh at me and I couldn't help it but to blush a little because I assumed something that he thinks is funny. I could feel my cheecks burning crimson as he laugh ligjtly while looking at me with amusement.
“Ano ba? Bakit mo ‘ko tinatawanan? Tama naman ang sinabi kong my name's not love. Tinawag mo akong love and that's not my name naman!” I stated, pouting. Feeling my cheeks heating up.
Napatigil siya sa pagtawa at nagpapalabas pa ng hangin habang tinitignan ako na may mga paglalarong mata.
“Damn, my baby misheard me..” He murmured, chuckling
He cleared his throat after murmuring something before he focus his eyesight to me
He smirked. “I said, Science Lab, that's where we will held our meeting.”
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at napatabon sa aking mga bibig. A small gasp escaped my lips.
“S-Science Lab?” Nag-aalinlangan ko pang pagkukumpirma.
