Wensday afternoon at 1:38pm

You then found your mom by the cash  register looking for her card.

"I can for my own nails" you told your mom as you took your money out.

"No, this was my idea so im gonna pay for it" your mother said as she found her card and began to scan it and put her pin in.

"Then ill make sure to pay you back"  you told her.

"Nope, besides my nails and toes were more expensive then yours" she said as she put her card back into her wallet.

You then crossed your arms accepting the fact your mother wouldn't accept taking the money you offered to pay back.

"But i did hear that you made a new friend here" you mother said as she walked out of the salon with you.

"You mean with candy? how'd you know?" you asked her.

"Word gets around quick in the nail salon" your mother said as she got into the car.

"Well yeah she's a cool person, i managed to get her number" you told her.

"At least your making more lady friends" your mother said, chuckling at the end.

"Whats that supposed to mean?" you scrunched up your face at her response.

"Because the only other girl I've seen come to my house as your friend was jazz and that blond girl with pretty eyes" she said, starting up the car.

"Kurapika? He's a boy to" you told her.

You could see your mothers eyebrows raise at your answer.

"Well then that just proves my point even more" your mother said as she began to drive home.

"Yeah, but its not bad to have a few guy friends" you said.

"And if they potentially like you?" she said.

"Then they'll be turned down" you told her.

For the rest of the ride you and your mother sat in silence listen to the radio until you got home.

As you got out the car, you made your way into the house to see your brother.

"Did yall have fun?" he asked, as he swayed back and forth in the rocking chair.

"The Most of fun's" you walked past him smirking, you could feel his eyes glaring into the back of your neck.

Once you got up to your room, you braced yourself for killua's out burst.

As you opened the door, the boy was no where to be found.

"Killua?" you said as yoy closed your door.

Since no one answered you assumed he had left and went home.

Before you did anything else, you went to bathroom and made sure you still looked good.

"Y/nnn..."

You stopped all movement as you heard a low and deep voice coming from your bathroom pantry.

After taking a deep breath you opened your mirror wall and grabbed your pink mace out of it and slowly closed.

You then grabbed your plunger with your other hand and was now ready to attack.

You quickly opened the door to your bathroom pantry to find no one, but you continued to keep your guard up.

You then made your way to the shower, the curtain was closed so you couldn't really see a shadow in side shower but you took no chances.
