it's been about 3 months now since your home was burned down by the sky people. since then you and your people have been living in a cave close to the shore while your village gets rebuilt. but your father has had enough and today your supposed to be visiting the metakayina clan in hopes for a new home with your parents and sister.

"marali come here! i need your help!" you heard your mother say. you rushed over to where she was and saw 4 na'vi hurt. they looked like fishermen. you were assuming she needed your help patching them up since you've been learning the ways of the tashik with your mother. she wanted you to be a good tashik for whoever your mate was to be.

"yes mother?" you walked over to her. "can you help me out please?" she asked as she was patching one of them up. you nodded with a smile and began helping out.

about 30 minutes later you and your mother were done helping the wounded fishermen. you and her were just walking along the shore, talking.

"so when are we visiting the metakayina clan?" you asked as you fiddled with a strand of your hair. "right now!! come on let's go, father's waiting!" your little sister, ay'olna said. she was about 3 years younger than you. you laughed and ran with her to your father while your mother slowly followed, smiling at the two of you.

"come on, we don't have all day!" you heard your father yell. you jokingly rolled your eyes as you got on a tsurak. you learned to ride one just a few months ago because you really wanted to learn, and apparently it's a big accomplishment for someone your age. you even got your first tattoo for it. you have a few tattoos now.

ay'olna got in front of your father on his tsurak and then you made your way to the metakayina clan.

~~~
you and your family arrived to the village, horns blew meaning your arrival. people started crowding around you and your family. people noticed your father and showed you guys with a greeting, some just stood.
you all got off your tsuraks and made your way to the shore. you soon saw tonowari and ronal walk up to you.
"hello olo'eyktan launweafte of ta'unui, why do you come to us?" tonowari asked. "in search of a home for my clan. we are almost done rebuilding we just cannot stand the cave no longer." your father had a pleading look. "a home?" ronal said, sternly. "we know it's a big question but we are just trying to protect our people." your mother commented.
while your parents were talking with tonowari and ronal, you were scanning around and looking at everyone. your eyes then landed on some na'vi. they were a darker blue than the rest of the clan. they looked like forest na'vi. you then saw a boy who looked to be human. you suddenly got a chill down your spine when it looked like the oldest man had 4 fingers.
you turned to your mother while your father was still talking to the couple and told her. "mother look, they have that human with them and some have 4 fingers. it's sky people." you said, terrified. you didn't want to go through that experience again. was the metakayina clan even safe to stay at?
"tonowari," your mother suddenly interrupted and then pointed at the more darker blue na'vi within the crowd. "why do you have sky people here? and why is that human boy with them? those sky people are demons! they burned our home!" your mother said with a cry.
your father then looked to where his mate pointed and saw the na'vi. "it is not what it looks like," tonowari turned towards the oldest male of the group. "if you would let jake sully come up and explain himself you'd be able to understand. we'd never welcome dangerous sky people here. he was toruk makto and helped us so he has proven himself to the people."
that was the toruk makto that fought against the sky people? a sky person himself fought against his own kind? you found that very shocking.
your father nodded at the statement of jake sully coming up to explain himself. jake slowly walked up to your father and started explaining.
"yes i was originally with the sky people but i have fully adapted into na'vi. i was the olo'eyktan of the omacticaya before having to leave to keep my family safe from war. we now live here." jake explained.
"and these other omacticaya is your family i'm assuming?" your mother asked.
"yes, they are." "that still does not explain the human boy with you!" you suddenly shouted. both of your parents looked at you. "i remember him. he kept apologizing for the sky people's actions." your mother added.
"that's spider. he's grown up with my family since they were babies. back in the forest we lived by sky people that we could trust and would help us. he then got captured by the sky people and was used for info but as you can see, he spilled nothing." jake said.
"and where are these sky people now?" your father asked. "dead. we attacked when they come for us. we did everything in our power to get rid of them. one of my sons died during that war as well" jake said. you looked over to jakes mate and saw her look very upset and a younger looking boy comforting her.
"i understand. well we thank you for your actions" your father said. "and i apologize for assuming so quickly." you said, stepping forward.
jake nodded in reassurance with a smile as he went back to his family to comfort his wife.
"we will allow you to stay here. and we will help rebuild your village. my son and daughter will come with you to inform your people" tonowari stated.
the chiefs son then stepped forward and began to protest while the daughter just walked up to you and your family. your eyes landed on the chiefs son. "i apologize for my brother, ao'nung. he's a bit of a handful at times, but i am tsireya" the girl said with a smile.
she looked about the same age as you, 14 or 15. so did her brother ao'nung. you looked over to ao'nung and saw him sulking his way over to you guys and that made you giggle. his ears perked up and his attention went onto you when he heard you laugh.
he thought it was the most beautiful thing he heard. he then shook out of his daze when he heard his sister calling for her ilu. he went to do the same.
~~~

"you can ride a tsurak?" tsireya asked, amazed. "yeah, i learned a couple months ago actually" you said with a smile. "mr. future olo'eyktan has yet to get his first tattoo." tsireya said giggling. "shut up! it takes time" ao'nung said looking away embarrassed.

you then saw a couple figures in the corner of your eye in the sky and realized it was the forest na'vi from earlier, on some bird things.

"hey, dad told me and kiri to come help." the boy stated. "whatever forest boy" ao'nung said, a little annoyed. he must not like them.

the two forest na'vi then looked at you. you froze and just sat there. "hi i'm kiri and this is my brother lo'ak." the girl said. you smiled and introduced yourself. "nice to meet you, i'm marali. i'm sorry for judging you earlier and making a scene. i just noticed the human boy and then your fingers and,, yeah."

lo'ak chuckled. "it's fine. we get it a lot, especially from man bun over here" he said pointing to ao'nung. "not my fault you guys are half demon" the boy protested.

lo'ak and ao'nung then started play wrestling in the water. you sat there confused. "they are playing around, correct?" you asked tsireya. "yes don't worry. it was like this when we first met them, just a little less goofing around.."

"stop it before you both drown" kiri said rolling her eyes.

"come on kids! we have a clan to inform!" you father suddenly said. you all started following your father back to the clan.
