chapter 13

it was the next morning. you were sleeping peacefully until you got woken up by rotxo. "hey ao'nung wake!- oh shit my bad bro. didnt know she was over." the boy said, the last part with a little bit of sass. "oh fuck off." ao'nung said before stretching.

you blushed as you watched him stretch. you then rubbed your eyes and sat up. "why are you here so early anyways?" ao'nung asked. "you get up this early everyday. now come on, get up." rotxo said then threw a pillow at ao'nungs head. he hissed at the sudden impact then threw the pillow back.

he eventually got up, still a little annoyed and tired. you kissed his cheek as rotxo left, making fake gagging noises. ao'nung rolled his eyes before turning to kiss you. this took you a little by shock, it always did.

"well good morning to you too." you said. ao'nung grunted before saying, "mornin'." he didn't seem like much of a morning person. he then stood up and looked at you.

"you coming?" he asked. "oh uh yeah. sorry." you said then stood up and followed ao'nung but he suddenly stopped and turned around. you looked at him confused.

"did you mean what you said last night? if we don't last..?" he suddenly said. you quickly went to go comfort him. "oh ao, of course not. i hope we last but it's whatever eywa decides to do for us." you said.

he knew he couldn't change whatever eywa had planned but what he did know is that he can enjoy the moments with you for however long they last. he knew you loved him and he loved you as well.

he pulled you into a hug and stayed like that for a few minutes until you guys got interrupted by lo'ak screaming for us to get outside. ao'nung rolled his eyes in annoyance, "fucking annoying ass."

you laughed, "oh give him a break." ao'nung muttered an 'uh huh' before following you out of the pod to meet up with the others. when you two walked out, lo'ak sighed.

"finally! only took you two forever. doing something while you two were alone?~" lo'ak teased. ao'nung lightly shoved him while chuckling. "shut up." you looked over at spider and this time he didn't look away right as you made eye contact and actually gave you a small nod. you smiled back in a greeting way, sort of shocked.

"we should make our bows today." kiri said. everyone agreed with her. "and arrows aren't that hard to make so.." lo'ak said. "i hate making arrows.." spider stated, rubbing his neck. "why is that?" you asked, confused.

"well back in the forest, neytiri would make arrows with some sort of toxin and we all learned to make them like that. but i have to be more careful since i'm not na'vi. the toxin can also hurt a na'vi but i'm more likely to be affected faster, it can stop my heart in like one minute." the boy said.

"oh." was all you and the metkayina teens could say. "yeah, but i don't know if mom will dip them this time, since we're just practicing. i also don't know if the toxin she uses is even here." lo'ak said.

"wait neytiri is going to make them for us?" tsireya asked. "well she's going to make the first few, then teach us how to make them ourselves. i was never that great at making arrows. and she'll also be teaching us how to shoot, along with dad." the boy said.

"so do we head over now or..?" you asked. "we can." kiri said, shrugging. you all decided to go ahead and head that way.

once you all got there, lo'ak and kiri walked in to talk to neytiri. you were listening in, just because you were nosey. it then went quiet and jake and neytiri both walked out, neytiri holding arrows and jake holding materials to make arrows and the bows.

"okay so, first things first. do all of your parents know you're doing this?" jake asked. you and the 3 other ocean teens said yes.

"okay good, because i don't want to be letting you do something that you guys aren't allowed to, especially for the three of you, your fathers are olo'eyktans. i don't need my head on a stick, it's already almost happened once."
