you woke up to very loud whispering outside your marui. you laid there just listening, soon realizing it was ao'nung, lo'ak, and tsireya. the two boys were arguing before tsireya interrupted them.

"if you both do not keep quiet you'll wake her." she said in a soft whisper. "a little late for that tsireya." you said peeking outside.

"we weren't even being that loud!" lo'ak said. "you kind of were. but let me get ready and i'll be out." you said before disappearing back into your pod. "okay!" tsireya said, ao'nung following behind with, "take your time!"

after a few minutes you walked outside to meet up with them. you said hello to all of them and noticed ao'nung staring. you giggled a little before waving your hands in front of his face scaring him out of his daze.

tsireya and lo'ak already walked off, leaving you two alone. "sorry, you look beautiful though." you thanked him for his compliment and began walking towards the other two latching onto ao'nung's hand before walking which took him by surprise.

"you know, you should wear your hair down more, or more like your fathers. i think it would look nice." you said taking something out of his hair. "i want to, but my hair is still too short for that. i'll look stupid." "i'm sure you won't."

"come on guys!! stop your flirting!" lo'ak suddenly said. "shut up!" ao'nung commented back. the boys started bickering at each other and you punched them both and told them to stop.

"damn, you have a punch." lo'ak said rubbing his arm a little. ao'nung agreed with him, also rubbing his arm. "i didn't even punch that hard" you said. "bullshit" ao'nung said. "your both just like babies."

the three of you joined tsireya into the water and played around for a bit. after a while, you spoke up. "hey so, would lo'ak and the rest of his family be able to get tattoos?" you asked. "i mean i don't see why not. father declared them part of the metkayina so i assume they would follow our traditions just as if they were water na'vi." ao'nung said.

"i would look so cool with tattoos." lo'ak said and then flexed his arms which made tsireya giggle. you were looking out into the ocean towards the direction your village is. you then felt a hand on your shoulder that belonged to ao'nung.

"hey, you okay?" he asked. you put your hand on top of his, "mhm, i was just wondering when our village is going to be finished. i like it here i just miss home you know?" you said. tsireya and ao'nung couldn't really say anything because this has always been their home, but lo'ak sensed the awkwardness and spoke up.

"i completely understand. i love it here, everything is great. but i just miss the forest sometimes and always riding my ikran with my brother."

"didn't you have a war going on all the time?" tsireya asked. "well yeah, but i didn't circle my whole life around the war. sure, i have no clue what home tree looks like and i don't get to live how my parents did but it wasn't that bad. other than my dad yelling at me for doing stupid stuff but i soon realized it's just because he sees a lot of him in me. always trying to go on adventures and shit, fighting someone important in the clan." lo'ak said, looking at ao'nung after saying the last part of his sentence and laughing.

"who did your dad fight?" ao'nung said with a small laugh and climbing onto a rock. "this dude that was meant to be mated to my mom. he was like the top warrior and stuff but then my dad arrived and obviously, things changed."

you sat beside ao'nung then said, "i feel like your parents have the most interesting love story out of any other na'vi." lo'ak laughed at what you said. "i mean most likely. i'm pretty sure they've had some rough times though, apparently they were supposed to kill him as soon as he arrived to the village, but since he wasn't a scientist like norm and the others, my grandpa wanted to get some information about him."
