We walk out the theatre with dried tears and huge smiles.

"It still does it for me, I swear to God. Beautiful." Lance says as we make our way outside, stopping a bit to say goodbye and thank you to the old lady, she replies with a warm smile and a wave, promising we'll be back.

"One of the best movies ever." I tell him as we reach his car. The night has fully taken over but the lights around the town provided such a romantic setting. "Is this town like ripped out from a romantic book or something?" I comment with a chuckle. He laughs at me and once again finds my hands entwined in his.

"That's what I said too." He tells me with a coy smile, he backs me up on the car and we stare at each other. For once, I didn't care if people were looking. "You're beautiful." He tells me, genuinely and my heart does that thing again where it skips a beat then hammers in my chest furiously.

"You don't look to shabby yourself." I reply with a joke, he chuckles at me and I join him, he then backs away and takes my hand in his again.

"Come on, there's this cute little diner a few blocks from here, they serve the best milkshakes in recorded history." He tells me with a chuckle as he leads me down the romantic sidewalk. "It's sort of far from here but I just wanted to show you around the town, I hope you don't mind walking." He tells me shyly as he scratches the back of his head. I chuckle lightly and look at our joined hands then up at him.

"Are you kidding? I love walking. I actually am a professional walker." I joke at him and we both laugh heartily. "Seriously though, I actually walk to and from work on good days. I really do love long walks." I tell him seriously this time. He looks at me and smiles, for the thousandth time today. He honestly has the most gorgeous smile ever, closed-lip, with teeth, name it, he can perfect that smile.

"Me too. I just love cars too. After all, I am a guy." We both laugh again, then we just enjoy each other's presence. I take my time to admire the quiet town, we walk by some people who offer us gentle smiles.

After we had dinner at the cute little diner, literally it was named 'Cute Little Diner' and I had a grand time laughing my ass off at that, I never laughed that much ever since mom died and it felt great. Anyways, after dinner, we continue strolling town but this time we walk by the seaside, since they had a dock here as well.

The place actually lived up to the name, and Lance came through with the milkshakes, they were heavenly and the people there were really nice.

We are now currently slowly walking along the sidewalk, which is next to the ocean. "Tonight was hands down, my best first date ever. Scratch that, it was my best date ever." I tell him with a big smile on my face. "Thank you." He squeezes my hand that is in his and returns the smile.

"You're welcome. And it was mine too. It's actually my first time taking someone out on a date, never been a fan of the whole thing before." He confesses. I gasp at his confession and stare at him, mouth open. He looks at me and laughs.

"You're kidding me, yeah?" I ask. He shakes his head and offers a closed-lip smile.
