CHAPTER 10

Ariel's P.O.V

"what did you just call him?" I ask almost coldly. Don't tell me she calls him that name whenever I'm not around? Only I could call him that name. I feel Steven's hand on mine on the table. He squeeze it gently and I could feel my anger subsiding. I look up to him and my face ease a bit.

"Sigh.. Barbie" Nerd sigh beside her biting his lip.

"Should I feed you?.. you still seems to be a little weak" He tells me. I guess he noticed how slow I was eating. My body is not still strong enough.

"There's no need" I try to refuse.

Instead, He reach for my plate. His familiar scent hit my nostril. He dip the fork in my food before bringing it to my mouth. He raise my brow asking me to open my mouth in which I did without complaining.

Tiger reach for the vegetables and hand it over to Barbie and shake his head at her. Barbie gives him a glare before serving herself.

"You should watch your tongue" Nerd whisper to Barbie.

"I don't think you need your glasses anymore" Barbie whisper back.

The breakfast turn lovely as Steve feed me and himself while Micheal feed little Nora. Kahina keeps giving Knight a cold shoulder. I'm sure I'm not the only one who notice that. Barbie keeps saying jokes keeping the breakfast lively while Don and Nerd stays quiet.

Once we all finish the meal, Steve and Knight stand to clear the table.

"Meet me at the gym by ten" Micheal instruct while playing with Nora. Steve nod and walk towards me.

"Let's go upstairs.. you need to rest" He stretch his hand to me and I accept it.

"How do you feel?" He ask in concern as soon as we enter the room.

"I feel a bit dizzy" I reply honestly as we both sit on the bed.

"I guess you need more sleep.."

"I woke up because I was so eager to see you.. so since you're fine, I think I'm going to have a long nap" I say to him and he grin.

"I'm so glad you're okay.. you have no idea how worried I was. Even in my sleep" I say lightly.

"I'm glad you're okay too" he bring capture my lips with his and give me a short kiss before instructing me to lie down and I obey without moving my eyes away from him.

He covers me with the duvet then lie beside.

"Move closer" he instruct lightly and I move closer to him resting my head on firm chest. His hand goes to my back the begins to pat my hair gently. He place a gentle kiss on my forehead.

The kiss feels like it reach my soul instead. Telling me everything would be alright.

I wrap my hand around him and we hug each other. Being in his arm feels so amazing.

This feeling.. I don't want it to stop. I want to spend every seconds with him and cherish it. Darkness creeps it's way in and I close my eyes as I slowly drift to sleep.

I wake up fold myself on the bed. I keep my eyes close wanting to sleep more but I couldn't. Sighing I open my eyes but Steven is no longer on the bed. I look around the room before sitting up.

"Where did he go" I whisper in a sleepy voice. My body feels stronger after taking a long nap. I get down from the bed and wear my slippers to look for him.

My stomach growl loudly and I look down.

"I'm hungry" I whisper.

Feeling a bit cold I hug myself and walk towards the next room.
