CHAPTER 26

Ariel P.O.V

"You should just give up dad.. The video of you killing Jesse is all over the news.. It's over" I whisper and he frown. I guess he knows nothing about the video.

"Video?" He thinks for a while.

"You're screwed" I smile. I notice him trying to avoid my mom gaze.

"Let's go" I watch William drag him out of the room. His words earlier is kinda disturbing.

"What's going on?" One of the shareholder asks and I turn to him.

I hold my head high and walk to push my mom toward the CEO main seat. I help her up and made her sit comfortable before turning to the hateful gaze on us and wait for my mom to speak.

"Hey folks.. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sheila Johnson, I know some you here know me already and beside me is Ariel Johnson; My daughter, also the granddaughter of this company's creator and she would be new rightful president in this company, I have my able lawyers to prove that.." My eyes flies open with shock and I look at her. She never told me she would make me the CEO.

"Mum" I whisper. She look up to me and wink.

"And I on the other hand would be the Chairlady of this company. If you have any problem with that just get ready to be on my bad side"

"This is nonsense. What do you think you are doing young Lady? Arresting your father and acting like a nuisance here won't help you!!!" One of them yell. He look like he's around his 50's

"And... You're fired" She says to him and his face turns paled. "Please take him out" She order the security men in the room and they obey instantly.

"Anyone else?" She ask coldly looking around the room.

I chuckle when they all turn silent.

"Good.. I guess no one wants to get fired then.. You're probably wondering why my husband was arrested.. I would like all of you to turn your phone on and watch the news" She smile while I watch them obey.

"What?.."

"Oh my God.."

"He killed someone"

"I can't believe this"

"This is cruel"

I listen to their comments quietly and look at my mom.

"One more thing!" My mum says getting everyone's attention. "I sent you guys a gift.. you can check your bank account"

They all check it immediately and a smile begins to appear on their faces seeing the pleasing money we sent to them.

"So.. I'm sure we are good right?" My mom ask. This was actually all her idea. I can't believe it works.

"Yes ma'am you are mostly welcome"

"Yes Chairlady"

"Thank you"

We both exchange glance and smile. The company is ours now.

But one more thing. I'm not sure if I'm ready to become president.

I'm kinda nervous.

Other's P.O.V

"I'm gonna miss her so much" Tiger cry like a baby staring at the grave in front of him. They had just bury her at the garden beside a tree after they burning Michael's whole house with Dave's men in there.

"All of us are.. I'm gonna miss her too" Nerd says holding Tiger's shoulder giving him a gentle squeeze.

Micheal just stare blankly at her grave with so many thoughts running through his head.
