CHAPTER 22

Other's P.O.V

Johnny stand beside his window in his Large room while he rest his hand in his pocket. His mind drift to what he and his step-sister had discussed in the restaurant.

"I'm not interested in the company anyway. All I want is to remain free, have good life, husband and kids. I just don't want something to hold me back" she says.

"Whatever, I'm glad you're not interested cus I don't know what I might do" Johnny smile evilly

"Johnny.. sigh.. what have you become?" she ask softly.

"What do you mean?"

"This is about Ariel right?" She ask. Johnny turn quiet while staring at the calm woman in front of him. A lot have changed within her. She look so calm and matured.

"I watched the news and everything. Ariel doesn't love you, why can't you just let her be? Why are you so obsessed with her?" Hearing the question Johnny turn quiet.

"Is it because of the company? Or you're truly in love with her.. if you're in love with her, then let her go. You don't deserve her"

Her last line piss him off. He hit the table between them with his fist and glare at her.

"She's mine and she would always be. No one can take her away from me" Johnny grit his teeth.

"She is not a piece of property Johnny. You need to understand that.."

"I would like you to mind your business Victoria. You know I hate the prep talk you love to give.."

"I'm a therapist Johnny and what I see is not love.. I see obsession.. you don't want to accept the fact that Ariel is in love with another guy. You just hate to being told No. What did you do when she was yours huh? I bet the guy she is with is even more better than you Johnny.."

"Victoria!!!" Johnny roar the whole restaurant turn their attention to them.

Victoria didn't even flinch even with the killer gaze Johnny is giving her.

Johnny sit back. His eyes change a bit and he sigh deeply.

"I love her.. I really do" with this hr stand on his feet and leave the restaurant.

Victoria was dumbstruck by Johnny's word. She watch Johnny's car drive off from her sight.

Johnny shut his eyes close. "Where are you Ariel?" He whisper to himself.

A knock on his door interrupt his moment.

"Come in Stanley" He order.

Stanley enters the room breathlessly.

"Please tell me a good news, I've had enough rough day today" Johnny mutter.

"I don't know if it's bad or good" Stanley says adjusting his tie.

"Say it" Johnny open his eyes and look at him.

Stanley tell him everything about Micheal's hideout being discovered. Ariel being separated from Steve and Barbie's death.

"Well that's sounds like a good news to me" Johnny smirk.

"Oh my God!" Valerie gasps hearing the intense gunshots in the other room. Nora wakes up in the process and seems to be scared.

Kahina suddenly stand on her feet. Valerie lips part in surprise. She just break herself free.

"How did you..."

"Micheal always tell us to have a pin wherever we go" Kahina reply.

She moves to release Valerie then Nora. Her eyes goes to Sheila and widen seeing her awake.
