CHAPTER 12

Steve's P.O.V

After taking our bath, I and Ariel head downstairs as we are both hungry since we missed our breakfast. Reaching downstairs, we spot Micheal having a serious conversation with a man on a white robe.

"Thank you very much Robert" Micheal smile and shake the man's hand. I guess he is the surgeon we've been waiting for.

The surgeon takes his leave. Micheal turn to us and his smile disappear. I know he'll be upset I missed today's training. His sight moves to my arm around Ariel shoulder and back to me.

"I thought you guys are never going to come out" He comment folding his arm.

"We had a long night that's why" Ariel reply for me and I bite my lips. God's knows what Micheal would be thinking hearing the word 'all night'.

A door open and Barbie comes out rubbing her eyes.

"I'm hungry" she mutter pouting her lips while she walks towards the dinning table.

Tiger also walk out of the same room. The three of us head snap towards him.

"Hope it's not what I'm thinking?" Micheal ask.

"No.. no it's not what you're thinking.. she drank so much last night and I help her out.. we didn't do anything I promise" Tiger raise his hand.

"Sigh.. why is everyone so annoying today" Micheal closes his eyes.

"You're the one who is annoying.. we just had fun last night that's all" Ariel shrug.

"This isn't the time to have fun.. it's not like we have won the battle.. you of all people Steven should know that" Micheal scold.

"I'm sorry.. alright" I say to him.

"Hmm.. I was about to make you rest today anyway" Micheal smile and I shake my head.

"Is that the surgeon.. what did you guys discuss?" Ariel ask. Micheal eyes change for a while but it disappears quickly.

"Hmm.. It's about your mom" He says and Ariel face turns pale and worried at the same time.

"What happened?" She ask. I also get serious to know the situation.

Micheal suddenly smile. "Robert said she could be treated" he inform and laugh lightly.

"Really!!!!!" Ariel scream.

"Yes.. but it is going to take sometime though. he is the best surgeon I've ever seen. So all we to do is wait for her" Micheal laugh.

"Steven did you hear that!!!" She squeal holding my arm and I laugh lightly. I guess luck is on our side but I can't deny the fact that I have this terrible Feeling that something unforgettable is going to happen.

Ariel jump and hug Micheal tightly. My smile slowly disappear and jealousy begins to creep in but I push it back.

"Thank you so much brother!!.. I would I ever repay you?" I hear Ariel says to him.

"I would love to have a peck on my cheek please" He says pointing towards his cheek. Ariel didn't hesitate to peck him there. My smile totally disappears.

Micheal is really messing with me.

"Ariel.. I'm hungry" they break the hug and look at me. If look can kill, Micheal would probably be lying on the floor by now.

Ariel notice the look on my face and laugh lightly.

"C'mon Steve you can't be jealous.. Micheal is my broth..." She stop when I turn the cold gaze to her.
