Chapter 21

Stargaze's Pov.

I stood sat down as I leaned up against the platform, talking to the kids. I had really grown attached to them. I had missed having someone other than just my Carrier to talk too. I loved her but even with her around, it was very lonely  and boring. I turned around as I saw Arcee coming over. "Jack, you ready?" She asked and I looked back to him. "Yea Cee." I watched him get up and head down the steps.

"Where you two off too?" I asked as I watched them "On a recon mission." I thought a moment before I stood. "Woulf you mind if I joined you both? I'd love to stretch my wings." I said as I fluttered my wings a bit. "Doesn't Shadow not wanting you outside the base?" Arcee looked at me, my wings lowered slightly as I looked back towards the tunnel as I knew Carrier had went to her room.

"It's only a recon mission, long as there ain't a high risk. It won't hurt to go." I looked back to the shorter femme. It wouldn't be the first time I went out without her permission. On cybertion, i would go out with my twin. When he was able to convince me to come with him.

"Hmm I guess you can come." I smiled gently as she said yes, Ratchet activated the ground bridge and once on the otherside. I looked around to see we were in a forest. I smiled big as I ran a few feet before I jumped up and transformed mid air and took to the sky. I chuckled as I spun in the air and circled the area. "Ahh it feels great to fly again." I smiled to myself as I looked around.

I noticed something not far as I came to a hover. I saw it was a crashed ship, I hovered over it as I looked at it. "I better find Arcee." I turned as I went to where I last saw her. I never did get the bots comlink codes so I wasn't able to com her. As soon as I spotted them I dove down and transformed mid air as I landed in front of them. "Hey I found a ship, seems it crashed here." I explained to Arcee "Where?"  "Come on, I'll show ya." I said as I lead the way.

After we got there, Arcee told both us to stay back and we watched her go inside.  Tho she came out not even a few moments later. We both came over as she seemed like she saw a ghost. "Arcee, you alright?" Jack was the one too ask before me. "I know who's ship this is." Was all she said as she quickly tried comming the base. The way she acted was starting to scare both Jack and I.

I followed them both as Arcee started getting as far as she could from the ship. "Arcee, who is it?" I tried asking but she never answered as she stopped and turned to me. "Can you fight?" I frowned slightly "Yes but-"  "You stay put, protect Jack with your life. I'm going to see it I can get a hold of base." I couldn't get another word out before she transformed and took off.

My wings lowered as I looked around "What's up with her?" I looked to Jack as he looked to me. "I don't know, come on." He said as he started heading after Arcee. "But she said to stay put." I said as I stood in front of him. "I'm not letting her go out there by herself." I sighed as I followed him.
