Harrison Potter's Point of View
Classes had been cancelled and all students either below fifth year or those who didn't want to fight were sent home with urgency. James and Lily had been stupid enough to tell Jayden to tell me to go home. They couldn't even bother or give the time to ask me what I wanted nor cared enough about my safety to check themselves obviously. I hadn't even seen them for the last week whilst I've been confined to my bedroom. Not that I had wanted to but given there was a matter of life or death in play, you would think your own parents would care enough to check up on you for a few minutes. But really, I had stopped calling or thinking of them as my parents for years now, didn't even call them by 'mum' or dad' really, most of the time was Mr or Mrs Potter and they would call me Mister Potter.
Soon that would change though. Once I was finally out of here, I would revoke the Potter name and heirship, leaving that for my brother and claiming the Peverell title, I had already talked to Jayden about it and he didn't mind. I don't think James even knew about the Peverell title since he never claimed it or perhaps was unable to claim it, either way it would become mine soon and transferred to the American branch of Gringotts's.
The rest of us who were still present at the castle were gathered in the Great Hall amongst many well-known aurors and others who I presume were a part of the order of the flaming chickens. Fingers were tightly wrapped around wands and postures were tense.
A chill breeze swept around the hall as everyone waited.
"Bring me the Potter boy and those you love can live. Bring me the Boy who Lived, and no one has to die. Failure to do so and I will reign down my forces against you and you will most definitely lose." An inhumane whisper echoed around the silent hall whilst everyone's eyes locked onto Jayden's person.
"Just let Him take the Potter boy" a shrill voice called out belonging to the one and only Pansy Parkinson more worried about saving her own skin than anyone else's. A few murmurs around her agreed when Dumbledore's hand rose into the air.
"We have excellent protections lining our castle, there will be no such need to do so. We will defend Jayden Potter as much as we can to ensure he is able to kill Lord Voldemort and end this treachery once and for all" Majority of the other students nodded whilst a few still looked unsure if they wanted to be here or not.
I could see them all lined up at the boundary where the professor's shields began. Around 300 or so death eaters, a pack of werewolves and a few trolls. Nothing that majority of those here shouldn't be able to handle, if they had refreshed their mind on offensive and defensive attack spells. Edward and Alice were out there with them in the tree lines waiting for them to break the barrier then they would attack the outside ring of death eaters. Once the battle began both myself and Jayden would find Voldemort and duel with him. We had devised a plan that if successful would make it seem like Jayden had killed Voldemort and was actually the boy who lived whilst 'faking my death' in the process so after I actually killed him, I would be able to escape with my newfound vampire speed and flee with Edward, Alice, Luna and Draco to Forks. To this day, I still find it was funny that someone would name a small town in America after cutlery.
When everyone started to disperse from the great hall, I snuck out using my newfound speed to make my way down to the familiar edge of the Forbidden Forest where the slightly shimmery barrier ended. I was far enough away so none of the death eaters would be able to spot me, but I could still see and hear everything they were doing which was attacking the defensive barrier full force. Whilst the barrier was one of the strongest known to exist it wouldn't hold, that many specific attacks all at once, for very long.
As if on cue a small crack started to form near the bridge leading to the castle grounds where all the other students and professors were. Taking silent steps, I made my way to where the death eaters were situated. Alice and Edward had already begun, using their abilities to their strengths and taking out the lower ranked death eaters on the outer circle one by one. I helped take a few out as well, sending silent spells out to disarm and unknowingly knock them out, not that I minded if a few of them fell and spilt their heads open from the sharp rocks that jutted out from the earth in the process. I still found it rather mind blowing that I could still perform magic, but even more so wandless and wordless magic.
