Celeste smiled as she examined herself in the mirror. She perfect golden curls bounced and shimmered in the sunlight.

Carter stood in the doorway impatiently. "Come on, let's go."

Celeste nodded and followed him out and into the grand hall.

Adelyn, along with some other dark fairies stood underneath the manner of red roses. Sharp thorns stuck out from it and Celeste found herself staring at Adelyn's black wings.

Adelyn looked at her, suddenly aware of her sister's presence. Her lips pursed and her wings disappeared.

"Carter. I'm going to get some fresh air." Celeste told the boy. He nodded and Celeste dashed up to the roof.

Panting, she screamed. She let all of her frustration and anger be released into the night sky. Then it happened.

An uncomfortable, sweet and deadly sense appeared. It took over her mind, creeping through every little crack and crevice of her brain.

Leave. You need not to suffer any longer.

And Celeste listened. In her heart she knew it was wrong, but in her mind she did not care.

"Let me be free." She whispered, and jumped off of the rail, wings hidden deep in her magic.
