Flashback/cut to before battle

Kel Morian colonel Aaron Pax makes deal with Vanderspool

Aaron Pax: So Javier, you will be the guy that will leak the ingellice to us Kel-Morains is that correct?

Jaiver Vanderspool: Yes.

Aaron Pax: I will stage the raid of the base while you load two trucks worth of credits. After that we split the proceeds correctly?

Jaiver Vanderspool: Yep

Aaron Pax: Alright I'll attack the base soon but remember the plan.

Cut back to the current situation where the battle ended. The Kel-Morian rippers were defeated. The Battle of Fort Howe ended in a Confederate victory.

Tychus Findlay: Well Jimmy, I think you aren't so bad after all.

Jim Raynor: You sure are right about that Tychus.

Despite Jaiver Vanderspool's soon to be promotion to Colonel he talked to Aaron of what happened to the trucks

Jaiver Vanderspool: Uh Yeah. Sorry about that man, the trucks were stolen apparently.

Aaron Pax: What! I don't believe this bullshit!

Jaiver Vanderspool: Well I gotta go getting ready to be promoted!

They both closed the communication

Aaron Pax: I swear I'll get back at this asshat!

Meanwhile on Javier's end

Jaiver Vanderspool: Dammit! Those two foiled my plans! At least I'm getting a higher rank.

As Jaiver Vanderspool got promoted to full colonel a new unit was born. He's in control of the 321st Colonial Rangers Battalion (composed of marines and rangers). 2 days have passed since the battle of Fort Howe and Tychus enter Javier's office

Jaiver Vanderspool: Alright, listen up Tychus! We won this battle but the war is far from over. I'm now in command of this battalion and you shall serve under my command.

Tychus Findlay: ok uh general.

Jaiver Vanderspool: I'm now creating a Special Tactics and Mission Platoon within this battalion and you and your friend are part of it! Macus Quiby is in charge!

Tychus Findlay: Ugh! Another person to deal with!

Tychus then goes to Raynor and tells him the news.

Jim Raynor: Aw crap! ANother guy that I don't trust, this Confederacy has men that are nor worthy.

Tychus Findlay: I feel ya' man I don't believe a second that these guys are worth it.

Cut to Vanderspool's office

Jaiver Vanderspool: Arlight I don't trust those two men over there and I know you're crab* addict but here's my proposal. You spy on them and I'll give you some crab in return and you don't have to work hard labor got it?
