Vegas and Pete, along with a few other members from the main family (including Venice and Florence), were at Pete's grandma's place to look after everything for the marriage. As the wedding was in two weeks, all the members from the main family were assigned with certain tasks- Tankhun had taken responsibility for the decorations (including the wedding cake), Kinn was responsible for inviting all the guests, Macau and Chay were responsible for sending out invitations virtually and Kim was responsible for looking for outfits with both Vegas and Pete. Pete's grandma was looking after Venice and Florence, since both Vegas and Pete and the others were busy. Tankhun was busy looking for wedding decoration ideas. Since he needed the opinion of another person, he called Pete, who was free for the time being.

Tankhun: "Aiii Pete, I've chosen two decorations for the wedding. Come here and see."
Pete: "Alright, Khun Noo. What do you have there?"
Tankhun: "Okay look, I picked floral decorations because they are beautiful. Even though both are floral decorations, the first one is where the whole venue will be decorated with white flowers. The second one is where the whole venue will be decorated with flowers of various colours. Which one do you prefer?"
Pete: "I think I'll go with the first one, Khun Noo. It's more simple and I like that one."
Tankhun: "Okay Pete. Do you want to ask Vegas once?"
Pete: "There's no need. He'll say yes to whatever I like and it's obvious."
Tankhun: "Okay then. We'll have these decorations put up on the wedding day."
After choosing the decorations, Pete went back inside the house to spend some quality time with Vegas and the children.
Five days before the wedding....
Almost everything was done. The decorations were put up, the wedding cake was done, people had been invited and the outfits were also chosen. For now, they had time to relax. The children were now being looked after the rest of the members (mostly Pete was the one who did). Since it was the evening, both Vegas and Pete were near the beach, relaxing and enjoying the fresh breeze, with Pete resting his head on Vegas's chest. Out of the blue, Vegas asked Pete a random question.
Vegas: "Pete, why do you love me so much? I mean I've hurt you a lot in the past and a monster like me doesn't deserved to be loved by a person like you."
Pete: "Vegas, I've told this before and I'll tell it again. I love you because you are you. I love you for who you are, not what you have done. You may have hurt me in the past, but I can see that you're trying to change for the better. Ever since Venice and Florence were born, you're trying to be a better father and a husband. I know what you feel, but now it's time for you to stop thinking like that, okay?"
