“Hello, again!” I said, coming back on stage. I was with One Direction, on tour. And it was the end of the show. They did their encore, and normally we would be getting ready to go to the next. But, today was a special day. Sad, but special.

“I but, you guys didn’t think that I would be out here, again, yeah?” I asked, putting the microphone on the stand and moving up on the stool. “Well, many of you know that I lost my mother when I was younger. But, four years ago today, I lost her to cancer. So this is something I do every year. This is my tribute to the wonderful women that my mother was. This is You Are Not Alone, by Michael Jackson.”

“Thank you guys,” I said when I finished. Tears blurred my vision and I shook my head as I left the stage. I was told that they were escorted back to the bus. As I was walking I sent a Text to Liam.

I unlocked my bus door and climbed on. Then my phone vibrated in my hand.

I put my phone on the charger and changed into my pajamas. I crawled under the covers of my bunk and set my alarm. But tears overwhelmed me, and I cried myself to sleep.
