Wednesday, December 16, 1977. It was the week before Christmas Break. Three full weeks of nothing but being alone together all day long. But today they were stuck in a classroom. The clock on the wall was ticking slowly to 3:30 the time of their release. With every single tick Finn watched as the big hand reacted the six slowly. Tick Tick Tick. Then suddenly the bell goes off, freeing him to go off and meet Robin by the bathroom they always meet at.

He dodged and weaved through the other students as he made his way to the door. He entered the room and waited near the sink. He was distracted by a fly buzzing near the window as he heard the heavy door open. Robin was caring a large stack of books which wasn't something Finn thought he would see.

"What are those for?" He asked as he took some off of the stack, relieving the stress on his hands.

"I have to do all the homework in math that you were supposed to help me with." Finn recalled the previous night were instead of doing homework, the two just fooled around and kissed all night. "I didn't even know that there was homework in it...I don't even know why I even choose that class." The two leave the bathroom and start their commute to Robins house.

"Oh..." he said.

"Yeah...oh" he rambled on about his assignment "yeah so he thinks that I can finish all of this shit within a day?! How the fuck am I gonna do that? Can you answer that? No! Exactly! He makes me so mad" . Even when he was throwing a fit he still looked beautiful. Finn noticed that he had done his hair like he liked it. It flowed and curled as it bounced when he walked.

They entered Robins house and went straight to the boys room. It was a bit dirty with clothes sprung around the floor. His bed was chaotic as half of the blankets weren't even on the actual bed. Finn made a face when he saw it only to be met by Robin's "Don't worry about it" comment which he used a lot.

While Finn took off his sweater, Robin took out his papers from his bag. The subject was basic Algebra, but nothing about it was basic to Robin. The numbers itself was confusing, but throw in lettered and solutions and shit and you have the recipe for chaos.

They sat down at the desk next to his bed. It was right against the wall in front of the window which was perfect to see. The sun was actually out for once instead of hidden in the clouds.

Robin tied his hair up away from his face. His features stood out more without being blocked by his hair. He looked grown. Finn was distracted by his beauty while Robin worked. He looked like one of those paintings of the beautiful spanish men from centuries ago. His skin was lit up by the sun and glowed. One thing he

"It's like this right?" Robin asked as he showed Finn the problem he did. It wasn't correct, but Finn didn't care. He sat back and admired his beauty. He was snapped back into reality by the sound of Robin clearing his throat.

He looked at the problem quickly. "Um...Yeah that's right" he said. He had a smile on his face when he saw Robin's eyes glimmer. He was always happy when he did it right, just never wanted to show it.

They got back to work on the problems. Finn guiding him along the way as he did the math. Occasionally he would take the pencil from his hands to show him an example, but he mainly did it just so he could touch the boys skin.

"So you're gonna want to add the five to both sides so you can cancel out the..." he went on about the math as Robin tried to pay attention. "Do you understand?"

He looked at the paper, then up to Finn. "Yeah I think so." He responded, grabbing the pencil and doing what the problem from then book. Once done he showed it to Finn.

"Yeah you did it right." He said.

"You could at least show more excitement" Robin said full of sarcasm.

"Yeah?" He said

"Yeah!"

Finn leaned in closer to the boys face, slowly. So close that he could feel his breaths on his lips. He pressed his lips onto those of the other boy and engaged in a tender kiss. Their kiss was different from there others. Instead of just kissing it was like really kissing. Like straight up make out. And it wasn't like in the movies where it was nasty and sloppy. It was real. It was loving. Finn moved his hands to robins, holding them tightly.

A knock on the door disturbed them. They quickly parted and sat straight in their chairs when Finn mother walked in.

"Ay Mijo why is your room so dirty!? huele a basura!" She said. She was carrying a hamper of fresh laundry and dropped some folded clothes onto Robins bed. "Oh, hola Finney"

"Hi Mrs. Arellano" finn said back.

"Clean your room" she said before closing the door. Finn looked over at the pile of clothes she had left. It was mostly just jeans and shirts he wore and his underwear.

"Since you're almost done I can help you clean if you want?" Finn said. Robin nodded in agreement as he finished up the last problem.

———

"Where do you wanna start?" Finn asked.

"You could start with the bed" Robin replied as he set up the radio. He turned it on and music filled the room. Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin emerged from the speakers as they got to work. Robin folded up his clothes and packed them into his dresser drawers while Finn removed the blankets from his bed. As he was tucking the sheet into the mattress he found a folded up piece of paper stuffed between the bed and the frame.

He opened it carefully to reveal its contents.

Im in love. His name is Finn. He's great. We went to the lake today and I wanted to kiss him so much. Just watching him move in the water was beautiful. I watched as his body moved like a smooth brush stroke on a painting. That sounds corny as fuck but it's the truth. He was beautiful. If I could I would've kissed him right there. I would have kissed him in the water so no one could see.

Finn read the note over and over again. He stained at the words as if they were gonna change. He had to make sure that they wouldn't change. He didn't want them to.

"You good? You're really quite" Robin asked. He turned to see Finn standing over the bed. He saw he was holding a paper. He knew what it was. His face flushed a deep crimson as he approached him. "You..." he paused "you weren't supposed to see that" he touched Finn's arms and sent chills up the boy.

"Are you embarrassed you love me?" He asked sarcastically. Robin put his arms around his waist. He placed a soft kiss on his neck.

"No" he replied.

"Are you to embarrassed to show me how much you love me?"

"No" he said. "Im not" he kissed his neck again. Finn let him.

They finished cleaning his room after their delay. Once done Finn left to go home after the sun set. When he went to sleep all he could think about was Robin.
