I landed in front of Y/N hospital and gently set her on the ground. It had been about a month since Y/N started living with me and things couldn't be better. She spends ever night curled up in my arms, and while I haven't made a move on her she does let me kiss her forehead and hold her. She even let me come to her first doctors appointment, they did an ultrasound and I saw the baby. Well it looked more like a bean then a baby but the tech told me it would definitely grow into a baby.

"Are you ok?" I asked placing my hand on her stomach to check on the baby. Unless you were really looking, Y/N didn't look pregnant, but I knew and I was constantly worrying about her.

"I am fine, thank you for bringing me to work Keigo." I smile at her and kiss her forehead, letting my lips linger longer then I should. I enjoyed the smell of her hair, lavender.

"You get off at seven right?" I had to make sure because today was going to be a stressful day at work and I wanted to be back in time to get her.

"You don't have to come get me, I can take a cab."

"None sense Y/N I will come get you. Besides I promised Shino an autographed picture for her nephew." She rolled her eyes at me and slapped my chest. She had really opened up this past month and at times it seems like we have been living together forever. As the days past, the weight of what happened seemed to get lighter and lighter. I was happy that I could do that for her.

"Ok Mr. Popular I will see you at seven." I watched her walk into the safety of the building before taking off. I had a lot to get done before Y/N got off work. Time to meet the gang.

I was so close to ending Twice until blue flames engulfed the room, now I find myself stuck under Dabi's boot. This motherfucker is going to make me late to pick up Y/N. I felt the pressure increase from Dabi's foot and knew more flames were coming. I had to move, and the hero part of me couldn't let Twice get caught in the flames. I traded my feathers for Twice's life.

"Just as I thought, the hero would risk his only weapon to save someone, even a villain." Dabi sneered. I needed to find a way out of this, fire is my one weakness. Twice took my hesitation to make a break for it. I injured him to the point he shouldn't be able to move, yet here he was. Running to cower behind Dabi as a blast of blue flames came hurtling towards me.

The flames flung me through a brick wall and outside of the building, this was the perfect opportunity. Even though I could barely fly I made it around to the other side and through a window, right into Twice's lap. He was already multiplying, there was no way around it I had to kill him. If he was left to his quirk the hero's would be overpowered. So I did the only thing I could. I killed Twice.

"Keigo Takami." How did Dabi know my name? That thought was enough of a distraction to get knocked down by another blast of flames. That didn't really matter now, my job was done. I needed to get out of here, let someone more capable handle the fire user. "Not only have you taken a dear friend from me." His boot landed in my back, knocking the wind out of me.

"You don't look to sad about it." I spat back, finding it hard to talk with his boot pressing down on me. I tried pulling myself out from under him with no avail.

"Oh trust me, this is my sad face, but it's also the face of a very pissed off possessive man." Dabi released a flash of flames, making it hard to breath. "You see Keigo, I've heard from a blonde haired friend that you've been rather close to something that is mine." Another flash of flames. "Keep your filthy hands off Y/N."

I felt the oncoming of another flash of flames but they never arrived, Tsukuyomi did. I found it hard to focus with the amount of pain, I knew my wings were completely gone, but I had a new mission. How did Dabi know about Y/N? Does this mean she is in danger? If so, I need to protect her.

"How do you know Y/N?"

"Everyone knows of Y/N, so of course Shigaraki and I know of her. She is ours."

His words caused my stomach to churn. Y/N is not safe, I left her unprotected at work. Tsukuyomi grabbed me, with my command we made a run for it. We didn't get far before another wave of flames took us out. Dark Shadow lost his darkness in the flash of flames, sending us free falling to the next floor. I wacked my head against concrete, the last thought before I passed out was getting to Y/N.

Y/N

I hadn't realized that the hero's had planned an all out attack today, the heads up sure would have been nice. While my hospital was on the outskirts we still ended up getting a mass of injuries coming in. Ones that couldn't make it to the bigger hospitals or ones that didn't want to go there for other reasons. My hope for an easy day at work evaporated as I looked at the people piling into the ER. We were so overwhelmed we had people sitting in chairs in the hallway.

One of the nurses turned on the news in hopes it would help us get an idea of what we might be dealing with. Lucky for me all the on call doctors showed up not long ago and I was finally able to take a moment to breathe. My eyes wondered to the TV just in time to watch the picture go blurry and a strange voice come through. What was going on?

"Y/N!" I turned to the frantic voice. It was Tsukuyomi, what was he doing here? Who is that in his arms? "He wouldn't stop saying your name so I brought him here as fast as I could."

The voice coming from the TV sounded so familiar, so painfully familiar but I couldn't take my eyes off the body in Tsukuyomi arms. Keigo.

I lost track of time. It could have been hours, it could have been days since Tsukuyomi brought Keigo to me. All I know is it was dark out when I woke up to the Keigo trying to make a sound.

After making sure Keigo wasn't going to die I continued to help in the ER. I used my quirk to the point that when I made it upstairs to Keigo's room I passed out in the chair next to him holding his hand. It just felt so nice to not be moving.

"Hey...don't try to speak. I did all I could to help you get better but I ran out of juice before I could repair your voice box. Give me like a day or two and I can fix you up as good as new." Keigo reached up to caress my cheek with a shaky hand. I leaned into his touch, relieved he was awake. "I am glad you are awake. You scared the shit out of me."

Keigo opened his mouth to say something but no words came out. I dug in my pocket and pulled out a note pad and pen for him and watched as he wrote on it. He turned it so I could see it. 'you look like shit.'

"Fuck you." He laughed quietly, only vague scratchy sounds coming out. Keigo rolled onto his side with pained grunts and patted the spot next to him. I was to tired to fight him and just crawled into bed next to him. He must be a quick healer or I used more of my quirk on him then I though because he was moving pretty well compared to how he looked when Tsukuyomi brought him in.

The bed was small, not leaving much room for either of us, but it was nice to be this close to him after seeing his limp body in Tsukuyomi's arms. He was having trouble scratching away on the note pad again. 'Are you ok?'

"I am fine, just really tired and wore out." He placed his hand on my stomach. "The baby is fine too. My parents have close to the same quirks as me and my mom worked up until the day she gave birth. It just took her a little longer to recover after using her quirk a lot."

Keigo pulled me closer to him and draped the blanket over us. I placed my hand on his chest, happy to still feel his heart beating. This wasn't our first time being this closer, it's not even the first time we slept together but seeing him today. I thought I had lost him, that realization told me what I needed to know.

I liked Keigo. It might take me some time to feel for him the way I did Dabi, but I did have feelings and I know I don't want to live without him. I cupped his face with my hand and looked into his golden eyes, he looked so content for someone who almost died.

"Can I kiss you?" A smile broke out across his face, he answered the best way he could. By kissing me.
