"I hear they call you
THE ONE-EYED PRINCE."STELSA TIES THE RIBBON around the raven's ankle— securing her letter for the journey. It seems to instantly know where it was meant to head, spreading its dark wings and taking flight. Stelsa watches as it becomes one with the night sky, heading north towards her uncle. She leans against the stone and sighs. It had become warmer in the past few weeks — something Stelsa both welcomed and dreaded. While the warmth was appreciated in the castle, it also meant the wedding was approaching. A tiny squeak makes Stelsa lift her head and turn around, finding beady eyes leering at her from the darkness. A rat. Aba would pitch a fit if she saw it. The rat seemed to understand, retreating into the darkness once more.
Silly creature. Stelsa hummed, sparing the night sky one last glance before heading back to her quarters for the evening. She did not notice that her uncle's letter slipped from her pocket as she walked away. The small rat from before slipped from the darkness once more, coming to stand above the letter as its beady eyes watched the Stark girl disappear.
Stelsa watched the fabric disappear in a flurry — countless silks being held up to Heleana as they etched out the final pieces. From where Stelsa sat, she could see the way the ladies fingers brushed against Heleana's skin making her flinch. The sight made Stelsa cringe. How could these ladies not see that the princess was uncomfortable? Heleana said nothing, her eyes stared off behind them and out the window. Stelsa notes the starry look in her gaze. Heleana was elsewhere and Stelsa could not blame her, "Do you have a dress for the wedding, Stelsa?" Alicent's voice speaks up from beside her, making the young girl turn away from Heleana and towards the queen.
Alicent sipped on her tea, slowly, eyes looking over her daughter standing before them, "I do, your Grace." Stelsa gestures to Heleana, "Heleana enjoys the color blue, so I have chosen a dress in favor of that." Those words perk Heleana's attention, she seems to blink into reality as a small smile peeks onto her rosy lips. Stelsa watches the life pour back into her lilac eyes and she cannot help but smile, "Are you doing alright?" Stelsa spoke softly, eyeing the way Heleana glanced between the ladies etching the final pieces of her dress together. Heleana nods, far more distracted in running her fingers over the fabrics. A sheer black had been laid over an apple red fabric beneath, complimenting the Targaryen house colors. Stelsa wished Heleana has gotten to choose the color herself, but she supposed she could not complain too much. At least Alicent did not get her wish in making her wear green. Heleana held a disdain for the color, much preferring light shades of pink, blue, and purple over anything else.
Alicent watched the way Stelsa softened, her body relaxing for the first time all morning. Stelsa was rather observant to her daughter's needs - which is why Alicent had welcomed her to wedding preparations, "A beautiful gesture, Lady Stelsa." Alicent grabbed the girl's hand and squeezed it, pulling those blue eyes away from her daughter, "I am sure the color will compliment your eyes." Alicent compliments and Stelsa nods, letting the queen pull her hand back to her own lap.
